The lobby and other common areas are pretty. Rooms not so much. The food we had for breakfast was good enough.

First thing of note: the building is shaped like an U and the only point of access is the middle. Our room was on one extremity so we had to waaaaalk a corridor so long I felt I was trapped in the Twilight Zone. How to fix it? Open points of entrance/exit in the edges of the building. I looked for them, couldn't find them. I asked, they don't exist. Now, it's just a few more steps, ok? Not the end of the world. Still, at the end of the day, it was a pain. I imagine with kids it would be worse.

Next, the room. Don't be fooled by the pretty pictures, the walls are printed plastic. The point is that is has a nautical theme, but it felt more kindergarten. Perhaps it's a matter of taste, but... now you know.

Regarding our room in particular, there were small damages in the bathroom door, toilet seat and furniture. There were also some paint drips in the bathroom. It's fine, we only wanted the room to sleep, but given this is not the cheapest Disneyland hotel, you should be aware of these things. You might end up in a room with a plastic feel and severely used looks.

My real problem, the thing that was actually a problem, was the AC. It was cold and I couldn't adjust it or turn it off. I went to the reception and made them aware of the damages in the room (again, not affected by it, just to inform) and they said they'd send someone to fix them. Not the furniture, obviously. I don't remember, it was something about the toilet seat that was broken, and something in the shower door that wasn't working. Anyway, they never fixed anything.

Regarding the AC, which was the actual problem, I was told that "to turn your AC off, we have to turn off the entire floor" (or entire section or entire building, I don't remember the exact words, it was just very dramatic and along those lines). Now, that's just weird. That's a weird AC system. No solution was provided. Just suck it up. If you have this issue and your room, like mine, has the AC in the bathroom, just shove a towel under the door. Next time you go to the bathroom, it'll feel like entering a walking fridge, but the room will be much better and not like there's a draft from the artic.

Now, I'm fine, I survived. Didn't even bother to write the feedback for 2 years (I was revisiting photos today and decided to write). BUT, is this the kind of experience you want to have when you pay however much you're thinking of paying for this hotel?

Me? Next time I go to Disneyland Paris I want to try the Sequoia. I don't expect it to be the prettiest, but the room is for sleeping anyway and it can't be worse than this. Plus location should be closer to the parks if I'm not mistaken.

I'm giving 1 star to the bedrooms, because they are definitely misleading. They do not match the photos, either because things are worn out or because they're actually different when you get there (the walls may seem like wood until you get there and it's actually plastic). I have stayed at worse places, but not for this price. For this price it's clearly bad.

Service gets two stars because the person who received us was nice. However the people who received me when I had issues, and trust me, my approach is not "battle mode", it's always "it might be my fault, help me out, please". They seemed cold, disinterested and didn't help at all.

Location is pretty. However, if I'm gonna accept a nasty room because "a room is for sleeping", then I'm gonna be practical about its other aspects too and there are hotels with more practical value in terms of location. It's ok.
