I booked a Beer Spa experience for two, which included 45 minutes in the Beer Spa and a skip-the-line entry to the Széchenyi Thermal Bath. The experience started off well: upon arrival at the Beer Spa, the customer service was friendly, and we received all the necessary instructions.

Unfortunately, the disappointments began shortly after. We were directed to tubs located right next to the entrance. The area had no doors, which made the experience uncomfortable as there was a constant flow of people (not customers) walking in, checking out the facilities, and taking photos. This was particularly unpleasant for my girlfriend, as we ended up being unintentionally included in their pictures.

This situation could have been avoided if the staff had ensured that non-customers were not allowed to enter and take photos in the customer area. Based on a quick count, approximately 20 people came through during our 45-minute session, completely ruining what was supposed to be a relaxing and private experience.

While the friendly start was appreciated, it unfortunately couldn’t make up for the discomfort caused by the lack of privacy. I sincerely hope the company takes steps to improve customer experience and ensure better privacy in the future.

I found the website quite confusing, maybe because the website was translated to English? We wanted to pre book because we were going on a weekend and didn't want to be turned down when we got there.

There are 2 sites that do the beer bath. We went to the Széchenyi Spa. For extra you can also use the Széchenyi Spa all day.

You can take your phone into the beer bath area if you want, but the staff never mentioned it to us so we didn't. And we didn't want to waste time going to get it. So if you want to take photos, take your phone in before you start.

You get changed in the main changing area of the spa and are brought back through the entrance lobby to the beer bath area.

The changing cubicles are also used as your locker. You get a wristband key and you lock the cubicle with that. You just leave your stuff inside, it seemed fairly safe.

I drank a fair amount of beer in the 45 mins, and I'm skeptical on how strong the beer is. If I'd have drank the same amount in a bar, I think I'd have felt the effects far more. My wife said the same.

Bring your own towel and flip flops.

The spa itself was ok, nothing spectacular, and definitely needs an...

Excellent! I pre-booked this beer spa experience to have during our trip to Lucaks Baths for my partner and our daughter. The staff are friendly and professional and allowed us to change the original time slot on the day by an hour so we could enjoy the Thermal Baths first before heading across to the beer spa. We were given the choice of how many tubs we required and we opted for one each, which were in our own private area. Lockers are provided at the beer spa but we used the private changing rooms over at Lucaks and walked across in our swimwear wrapped in our towels ( loaned from our hotel) and wearing our own slippers. The beer on tap was cold and plentiful and tasted quite nice. The spring water on tap was warm and could have been a bit cooler for our liking. Some pretzel sticks snacks were provided too which was a nice touch. There are showers at the beer spa which we used before leaving there. We had a 45 minutes time slot, the staff set a timer and are polite when telling you your time is up, you get ample time to pour another glass of beer and drink it. Thank you! Gabrielle,...

"DROWNING IN BEER" What is not to love about this place? You are in a beautiful spa set in gorgeous surroundings then you go & get changed in a lovely little white hut, that you leave all your valuables in & lock it up, with a swipe of your wrist band. Then walk up stairs to the beer spa where you are drew a bath of hops, yeast & barley while the friendly staff member explains all about what you are about to experience. Then you climb into your wooden tub of hot happiness & pull yourself a cold pint from your own beer pump & nibble on some bread & marmite (I think) & relax. I highly recommend doing this whilst in Budapest, it's a must. But I recommend buying your ticket online off their website before your visit, Then you get to jump the cue, get your own cabin to change in & store your valuable's, a full day pass for the thermal spa's & you get to choose your time slot for your beer bath experience which lasts about 45-1hr. I recommend 1 tub per person, Then you can relax & stretch out, but also hop into your partners tub for a cuddle or photographs. All that cost roughly £90 for 2 people.

My husband and I had an unforgettable experience at the Beer Spa at Szenchenyi Thermal Baths in Budapest! From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and provided excellent service. The concept of soaking in a tub filled with natural beer ingredients while sipping unlimited draft beer is both unique and incredibly relaxing. The combination of hops, malt, and thermal water left my skin feeling soft and rejuvenated. The spa itself is well-maintained, clean, and the ambiance is cozy, creating the perfect environment to unwind. The private tubs were spacious, and having the ability to control the temperature of the water made it even more comfortable. The option to pour our own beer directly from the tap next to the tub added a fun and interactive element to the experience. Overall, the Beer Spa is a must-visit in Budapest. Whether you're a beer lover or just looking for a unique spa experience, this place delivers. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city!
