This hotel is a joke. There is NO STAFF that works in the hotel - to check in, you have to walk 2 blocks to their other property. (This was about 5 PM on a Saturday). If anything goes wrong at the hotel or you need anything, there is no staff to assist you. Staff at the other hotel is rude and unaccommodating. They literally laughed in my face when I asked for my luggage to be left at the desk for a few hours after checkout and I was flat-out told there is nothing they can do. Rooms are small and mediocre, and rely on open windows for A/C. Don't waste your time staying here, there are plenty of better accommodations in Kyoto and this one is not...
