I booked the 60 min massage, 30 min foot rub and 30 minute facial as a last hurrah for my daughter and I in Japan. I had super high hopes based on all the amazing reviews, but if I’m leaving an honest review it was mediocre at best. I didn’t expect it to be a massage parlor like in the US, but for $100 USD/14000yen, I expected a lot more than what I got. The reviews talked about more deep tissue massages but mine felt more like she was rubbing oil into my skin. I explained I’d like it harder but that didn’t happen. It was also SO noisy. I understand that they can’t control the noise outside, but my daughter who wouldn’t complain about anything said it was hard to relax because there were full on conversations between our massage therapist's happening at normal voice levels that we couldn’t understand while they were working on us. I don’t know if a client brought their whole family including crying children into the lobby that is only separated by a curtain for 15 minutes or more or if it was one of the employees, but it did not make for a relaxing massage. The ladies were really nice but I wouldn’t go back and I wouldn’t recommend it. Instead of a last awesome Japan experience I’m disappointed, not feeling all that relaxed, and feeling like I way overpaid for what I got. I did take the owner up on her offer for a complimentary service and it was an even better massage than before. Perfect pressure and great technique. A much needed 60 mins of pampering that my very sore feet and calves needed.

If I lived in Osaka, I would definitely be a regular customer here!

Pros: super flexible with timing as we were able to walk in great massage technique and pressure, including checking in and adapting to my preferences convenient location and easy to find super friendly with tea and candy offered before and after

Cons: my massage therapist was super distracted; she spent at least half of my massage directing staff or sending voice memos on her cellphone which meant absent-minded, one-handed massaging for me. I’ve never had my left shin and right pinky toe so thoroughly (but pointlessly) massaged the 60 min foot massage was actually a 10 min foot bath and a 45-50 min massage

I don't usually write reviews, but I feel like this deserves a review. Today I booked a same day massage here for an hour later. I was actually late to my appointment, but they were so accommodating! My massage therapist, Te was very nice, and even though she doesn't speak English, she did her best to communicate with me, even calling another person on the phone to make sure I could be understood. And she made sure I was comfortable, giving me tea immediately when coming into the door and giving me a foot bath, which was so pretty! I did the 30 min foot+30 min head/face+60 min oil massage and Te did such an amazing job! She always ckecked in to make sure the pressure was good and even after, she quickly brought me tea and even had me take away some yummy candy. She made me feel very welcomed and I appreciated that. Nothing to speak bad about, but just some overall comments- during my time they did speak a bit of Chinese to another person working there during my massage, probably to figure out some stuff, but I am honestly used to no talking at all (just personal preference).
