Tokyo station (東京駅) is simply huge and includes restaurants and shops of all kinds. To visit them you don't need to go through the ticket gates. Various subway, train and shinkansen lines meet here at the station. If you're catching your shinkansen from here or are transferring between trains it's very important to know that there are various entrances and the transfer times can take up to half an hour, so plan your visit carefully. Tons of interesting restaurants and speciality shops. I came here to shop for Tomica cars and here you can find a Tomica shop located at Basement 1. It has most of the Tomica cars and rail collections.
