A historical site, small free museum, and sitting area in the 4th floor of KITTE building next to Tokyo Station Marunouchi Exit, suitable for a short break during your stroll around Tokyo Station. You are welcome to enter freely and sit on the available chairs and benches, but do not touch the historical objects belonged to the postmaster (such as the objects on the postmaster's desk).

Although you can get a very nice high view of Tokyo Station from the windows of this place, it appears that most foreign visitors do not aware of this spot. I recommend this spot for those who interested (even only just a little) about the historical side and old...

You can find many old photos of the building , with the Station as the background. Walking around the room is just like walking through the history tunnel !

旧東京中央郵便局の姿は記憶にないがこの敷地でKITTEができてるから存在を知りました。 今まで屋上で東京駅を見ましだが旧東京中央郵便局室長後ろに広がる光景は素晴らしいです。 1940年代を考えてみればやっぱり最も凄さがわかり。 東京中央郵便局長がどれぐらい力があるのかすぐわかりました。 室内に昔の写真や昔ままの机、机の上にある電話☎️などを見ると時代を感じてます。 だぶんその当時は郵便局が大きだろうと思ってます。 行った時も年輩が多く昔思い出す人々がいました。 ここから観える東京駅は特別感がある。 真正面の丸ビル、新丸ビルからも良いが、こちらはより近くから、東京駅を眺める穴場。
