Our stay at this hotel had many highlights: - The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. - The rooms were nice, with excellent attention to cleanliness, and a nice city view. - The hotel’s garden was absolutely beautiful! - The facilities, including the sauna and gym, were modern and well-maintained. However, one general aspect that was less than ideal was the hotel’s location. While Shinagawa is well-connected by various train lines, the immediate area around the hotel doesn’t offer much in terms of attractions or activities. There are a few nearby restaurants, but it lacks the vibrant atmosphere found in districts like Shibuya, Shinjuku, or Ueno. A key reason for taking off one star for my rating is the experience at the Club Lounge, which I felt didn’t live up to expectations. While the lounge itself was comfortable and accessible throughout the day, the food options were disappointing. We stayed for seven nights, and unfortunately, the breakfast and snack offerings were exactly the same every single day. Although I don’t expect a new menu daily, the small selection became very monotonous, to the point where we skipped breakfast there by the end of our stay. When we raised this with the staff, hoping for access to the general breakfast room for more variety, we were denied. Considering we spent over ¥300,000 on our stay, I felt the hotel could have been more accommodating, especially in terms of offering alternative dining options to enhance our overall experience. Please respond with a ❤️if this review was helpful to you. Thanks!
