Church Bells and Silent Lines | Communion or Charity Meal? 🕯️vs🥫

I usually visited St. John’s Cathedral in Kuala Lumpur and was struck by its quiet beauty and sense of peace in the middle of the bustling city. Tucked away near Bukit Nanas, this historic Roman Catholic church offers a calm, reflective space with simple yet elegant architecture—whitewashed walls, stained glass windows, and a warm, welcoming interior. The atmosphere inside was serene, whether during Mass or just a quiet moment of prayer. It’s not just a religious site but also a meaningful cultural landmark, reflecting KL’s spiritual diversity. Whether you’re attending service or just passing through, St. John’s Cathedral is a lovely place to pause and reflect.

Seek for His Law of Grace, Live Truthfully, and outwardly with the Virtues of Beatitudes to all the people in the Truth Works of Mercy in His Name…

Why do we come to the Mass? For us to fulfill our obligation of the Mass Continue the norm of our parents and grandparents did What is the profit of our blindness? Because we are Christian that Believed in Christ To be save and go to Heaven Who does the Will of the Father in Heaven? To celebrate and remember our Lord Resurrection To renew our Faith and cultivate with Love When are we acknowledge the Presence of God? In unity that we come with pride, jealousy, and hatred Adultery in our hearts of wicked and evil we buy Or it just the fear and myth that we live With whom can we purchase our ransom? That Christ, Son of God, died on the CROSS for us? We, the sinners, do not need to do anything? For the Blood of Christ had redeemed us Fool for the rich men that are ignorant How can we LOVE Him, but not KEEP His Commandments? Blessed are those in poor spirit glorify God with his life To know the Presence of God and Truly Repent Through many years on the journey that I have seen The Wisdom of God to His poor people For no communities and people are the same Few are know the Presence of God and His Work Others are sinking into the abyss of fame with pride Built the temple of fake and lies Let it be your will to judge in the Name of Christ

I have learned from the Little One of God A poor spirit man come to the Mass with preparation Wash himself and dress humbly in good clothes Not fashionable style to lure men with lust or fame He enters the Sanctuary or His Temple with a reverent bow Pause before the CROSS, Tabernacle, and Altar he professes To greeting the Spirit and Presence of God At the same, he asks God to blessing men Down with Genuflect He asks for the forgiveness and Guide Not like men decoration with gestures of pride Nor rushing with the Sign of the Cross unholy Like their busy “life of riches” they traded The Life of Truth Happiness for the Suffering of lies At the pew, he kneels down to consecrates with PRAY Silently he reviews the Readings and Gospel News Close his Eyes he meditates in His Word During the Gathering, he bows to the Holy Book on the Altar Again, he bows to the Holy Book before Gospel reading When Holy Spirit come to the hearts of men To answer God with “Amen” that he Trusts in Christ During Mass, he focuses and consecrates His Word Reverently he observe the Mass and professing in Unity Preparation by Holy Spirit He PRAY before receive the Eucharist Strengthen him he walks humbly with the Fire of Hope To receive the Eucharist He Genuflects with Word before God That the Spirit commanded him to remember to do Kneel at the pew, He give thanks and PRAY with the Spirit Guide With blessing Grace and Gifts he receives to repentance Penance he pays to the life that he had done wrong A true organically to fertilize the Tree of Life Not the liar of hidden chemicals in advertise organic in life So he be able to continue on the journey to Glorious Hope To the End, He glorify the Father Faithful Name like Christ With his life and PRAYER from soul that he PRAY Meditating the Father Law of Grace days and nights He learned to kneel before God but stand before men of wicked Sharing the Wisdom of God to the Truth Virtues of Beatitudes Fear no men threatening or condemn him with injustice He continues to PRAY with his Mother and Spirit of Light For mankind to hear the voice of God calling To repent and do penance before coming home Sanctify and purify by His Merciful and the Fire of Hope To be Goodness over the devil of lustful fame and pride The Truth Obedience to the Word of the Father of Life Not the liar obedience to men with pride Amen to the Father Glorious Hope to come.

Cathedral of St John The Evangelist is the Mother Church of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Kuala Lumpur and the seat of its Archbishop, Julian Leow Beng Kim. The first Church on a nearby site was established in 1883, and consisted of a long wooden hall with a few windows built on a forested area of Bukit Nanas, and was dedicated to St John the Evangelist. It was later rebuilt with bricks walls and tile roofed, and today is used as The Community Services Centre". The current building was built in 1954 and completed in 1955 and consecrated in 1962, when it was also elevated to the status of cathedral. The building is known for its whitewashed exterior and twin spires at the west front. It also includes stained glass windows from Paris, depicting scenes from the Gospel.

The parish has come a long way from its early days, from being a parish of expatriates and Eurasians, and is now a thriving 'Cosmopolitan' parish. Situated in the heart of the Kuala Lumpur, the Cathedral also draws many foreign visitors and diplomats, apart from the regular parishioners, to its Sunday services.

St John's Cathedral is located next to St. John's Institution, which is known for its Grecian-Spanish architecture. The school derives its name from St John Baptist De La Salle and was established by the Lasallian Brothers.

Due to its location ascending Bukit Nanas, it is also in close proximity to Convent Bukit Nanas, Bukit Nanas Forest Reserve and Kuala...
