Coconut ice cream with fresh ripe mangoes awesome combination. A must try in Boracay. During my trip to Boracay, I kept hearing about **Coco Mama** in D’Mall, so I finally decided to try it—and I’m so glad I did. Tucked in a small corner near the main walkway, this humble stall doesn’t look fancy, but it delivers one of the best tropical desserts I’ve ever had. I ordered their signature coconut ice cream served in a real coconut shell with sticky rice, mango chunks, and toasted coconut flakes. The first spoonful completely won me over. The ice cream was creamy yet light, perfectly balancing sweetness with the natural flavor of coconut. The sticky rice added a chewy texture, while the mango brought that burst of freshness that screamed “island life.” Every bite felt like a mini vacation within a vacation. What I loved most was how refreshing it felt after a hot day at the beach—it wasn’t heavy like regular ice cream, just smooth and cooling. The presentation in the coconut shell made it feel eco-friendly and Instagram-worthy too. My only gripe is the limited seating—it’s more of a grab-and-go spot, and the area can get crowded. Still, the quality and taste make up for it. If you’re in Boracay, Coco Mama is a must-try treat that perfectly captures the island’s tropical charm.

FOOD: I'm a bit biased since I love mango but this is one of the must-tries in Boracay! It's not the most unique dessert but delicious tropical fruits combined plus Ice cream is heaven to me. I like how you can eat the remaining coconut that lines the husk. This food is aesthetic plus it doesn't hurt the environment!! SERVICE: There is always a line here but it's fast. Plus the instructions on how to order is very straightforward so you really wouldn't spend more than 5 to 10 minutes here. They also accept credit cards! AMBIANCE: The D'mall might not be the best place to have this as this should be along the restaurants near the beach front or even a bit closer to the other dessert place. It's just out of place beside the clothing or retail areas. But I would go miles where this is to try and get it everyday :) TIP: for mango lovers you can add an additional 30PHP for more mango bits. Trust me it's worth it!!!!

I can see why this is the best dessert place on the island! I am not a huge coconut fan but my god this was good. I went twice. Takeout only. In the evening, expect a line but it moves quickly. Heavenly and pretty cheap. Very refreshing and not too sweet either. Just pick your size from the menu. I went with small (two scoops), let them know if you want mango which is an additional cost and then choose your flavours. I went with mixed, so one scoop original coconut and one scoop coco pandan. So good! Probably one of the best desserts I had eaten in a long time, and nicely presented in a coconut shell. I am not one for sickly desserts. This was light, refreshing and divine. The small size is perfect for one person. My difference between a 4 and 5 rating was service and staff. I could see they were mocking and laughing at some customers which wasn't nice. It is because of us that you have a job and a business, so please treat us with courtesy. When I got to the front of the line and was about to place my order, there was no hello or any greeting. It was more like the staff were just fed up of the...
