It was so hot here in Texas and was looking for something to do indoors. Parks mall was air conditioned and this carousel ride was perfect for kids. #carousel #horse #ride #parksmall #parksmallarlingtontx #familytime #indoor #roundandround

Alright, here’s an honest, detailed review of The Parks Mall at Arlington, Texas, based on what I’ve gathered about the place as of March 21, 2025. I’ll keep it real, balanced, and thorough, covering the good, the bad, and everything in between. The Parks Mall at Arlington is a pretty big deal in the area—a sprawling shopping center that’s been around since 1988, sitting right off Interstate 20 and South Cooper Street. It’s got over 170 stores, a solid food scene with about 25 eateries, and a bunch of entertainment options that make it more than just a place to shop. If you’re in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, it’s one of those spots that’s hard to miss, and it’s got a reputation as a go-to destination for suburbanites looking to kill a day. Let’s start with the positives. The sheer variety of stores is a major draw. You’ve got anchor spots like Macy’s, Dillard’s, JCPenney, Nordstrom Rack, and Dick’s Sporting Goods, which cover a decent range from mid-tier to slightly upscale shopping. Whether you’re after clothes, shoes, jewelry, or home stuff, there’s something for most budgets. Specialty stores like Pandora, Coach, Sephora, and Barnes & Noble add a little flair, and the mix feels broad enough to keep things interesting. The mall’s layout is pretty straightforward too—two levels, easy to navigate, and a directory that actually makes sense. If you’re a planner, you can scope out the store list online ahead of time, which is handy. The entertainment options are a standout. There’s an NHL-sized ice skating rink (ICE at The Parks), which is a cool perk, especially if you’ve got kids

Whenever I am in the Arlington area, I go to this mall! I was born and have been living in Abilene my entire life and I worked Sears here for eighteen years! So whenever I traveled to this mall, I would shop at the Sears here that is now closed! I would buy a GPS and clothes from Sears! I remember even buying clothes there to go to a Lionel Richie concert. I would also shop other places like New York and Company ( that is also now closed)! I would eat at the food court!! I would also go to First Round, Victoria Secret, Macy's, and Bath and Body Works!! I guess I said all this to say is that I have memories from shopping at this mall and last Saturday I went to it. It is still a thriving mall with lots of stores to choose from! I bought something from JCPenney and Macy's!! Lots of people were there!! This mall I would recommend!!

Quite a lovely standard mall, but it appears they have some leaky roof problems. There's an ice skating rink, a carousel/merry-go-round, many novelty shops, gift shops, clothing shops, book stores, an AMC Movie Theatre, arcade, hair/nail/makeup beauty salons, and cheap to mid tier dining options. There's plenty of parking, seating, and then there are other miscellaneous amenities, like the bitcoin ATM, several massage chairs, etc. They have recently implemented an age restriction that no minors shall go accompanied with a guardian at all times in the mall, apparently bringing down the constant tom foolery that plagued this mall down significantly; there is a sort of sadness to this though.
