To summarize my review, Groomsmen 3-pc suit and customer support subpar (not sufficient) but the Debonair 2-pc was great.

I would have created my review sooner, but I ordered the green groomsmen 3-pc suit for my proposal. I purchased them in-store (which was weird because it was very silent no music) but overall clean store and fine shopping experience. The Debonair they kept in store and I also bought a shirt for it and received them then. But was told the Groomsmen suit was online order only.

The reason I gave two stars is because not ONCE BUT TWICE, I was sent a suit with missing buttons. Shipping was relatively quick (maybe three days) but the first suit (fourth picture) came with a missing button on the vest. There were no extra buttons for me to sew on.

So, I emailed customer support and the next day I received a USPS return label. The issue is that USPS does not print labels for you. So I had to find a printer because I did not own one and then go to USPS to ship it.

RML did not ship out a replacement suit immediately and instead waited for my parcel to come in to ship me a suit. Actually, I shipped on a Sunday. On Monday I reached out requesting tracking. They responded saying my tracking for the return package was Tuesday (as if I made the mistake to ship with missing buttons). I reached out Wednesday after not receiving tracking and they didn’t actually ship until Thursday.

Keep in mind, this is the suit for my proposal. And also, it’s a groomsmen suit, so some people will order several of these for a wedding (big life event).

The other crazy part is it seemed to ship from Atlanta, GA… and I live in Atlanta, GA.

And then, I get my replacement suit after that hassle… and you’ll see in the third image… ANOTHER MISSING BUTTON. At least this time, the missing button was in the bag. But, I took it to my alterations guy to get replaced, which was an extra fee since the suit requires alterations anyways.

Despite the customer service experience, the Debonair suit I had no issues with. Works well and I get compliments. I do also get compliments on the hue of the groomsmen suit. But I find it important a customer knows the hassle associated. It may just need to be a line they discontinue for the quality.

After I reported my second issue to customer service, they did send me a promo code for a percentage off my next order, but this company does not deserve anymore of my money after repeating the same mistake twice.. attention to detail is lacking.

I rarely do reviews but my experience with Rich Men Looks (RML) was exceptional. Some context… I’m not a high fashion guy but had a special occasion and wanted to look my best at my 40th year high school reunion. I was given a recommendation from another men’s store to visit RML. I walked in and was impressed with how nice the store looked. It was very spacious and very nicely decorated. I was immediately greeted by Emmanuel. Even though I was dressed in jeans and a t-shirt, he was very professional and welcoming. I explained that I had this big high school reunion and the theme of the party was “movie star/red carpet”. I wasn’t just looking for a nice suit, RML can easily handle that. I needed some guidance and suggestion. Emmanuel went to work and started pulling together some options. It only took a short few minutes and he nailed it! Found the right suit, shirt, pocket square and color coordination. He even suggested the shoes that would look best. He offered other items like a tie and cuff links but I decided to go without the tie and had the cuff links. He arranged for speedy alterations a short drive from his store. I anticipated spending several hundred dollars, maybe a couple of grand. Was shocked at how reasonably priced everything was. Took care of the transaction and headed to the tailor he suggested. When I arrived at the tailor and pulled the suit out of the bag, I noticed a light dirt stain that I didn’t see in the store. I called Emmanuel and he said come right back and I will take care of it. That’s exactly what he did! Swapped the stained suit for another exact suit and I was back at the tailor 30 minutes later. I felt great walking into my reunion dressed like a star, got many compliments, had a great night!! Thanks RML...
