I have been a loyal customer of this nail salon for almost 7 years, on and off. The location is convenient, the atmosphere is nice, and the employees usually do an incredible job. The same 3 or 4 employees have always been there for as long as I have been using this salon. I went in for my monthly pedicure and gel polish change/manicure. I did not recognize the girl assigned to do my manicure. She started to remove the polish and immediately started filing my nails with the coarsest file I have ever seen. She was not careful and was filing the skin around my nails over and over again. Instead of leaving the foil and cotton soaked in alcohol on for the necessary amount of time, she left them on for just a minute and then spent 30 minutes trying to file the gel off. This destroyed what was left of my nail due to all the filing, and literally made my skin around the nail bleed. I eventually had to stop her and tell her that I just needed to leave. I tried speaking to one of the girls I recognized about the situation and she offered to fix it for me the following day, for which I was not available. This was all that she would offer. I asked to speak to the manager and he was extremely rude and told me that he would fix it right now, but that was all he could do. I expressed how I did not want anything else done to them at the moment since the skin was already so sore and painful. He brushed me off and told me there was nothing he could do. I went to dinner, ate in extreme pain trying to keep anything from touching my fingers and decided to go back and have another conversation with the manager. This time he was even ruder and acted like he wasn't even listening to me while he was doing something on the computer. I expressed how I was a loyal customer and that this was very poor customer service. He again was rude and told me there was nothing he could do. This is has been an absolutely terrible experience and the lack of customer service was astounding. I do not blame the technician as she may be new or just not know any better, but for the management to completely ignore a loyal customer that has never caused any problem, rather than addressing the issue makes it clear that this is not a respectable establishment. Unfortunately I will not be returning to this...

I walked into this salon because it was right beside the place where I get my waxing done. I was able to be seen immediately, but I think it was by someone who was untrained. It was like getting my nails done by someone who had never had their nails done by a professional (only close friends). She clipped my nails in such a jagged pattern that I ended up asking to leave 2 minutes into the service.

There was a bit of a language barrier, but the technician working next to her was able to smooth things over. He offered to have someone else finish my nails. Another technician came over to reassure me, and offered me some water. Honest to god, if those two techs who were so warm and friendly don't own that salon, they should. Bravo with customer service and supporting your team!

Another tech who was much more skilled finished my pedicure and up-sold me on a gel polish change. The work wasn't great, and I don't plan on returning, but my heart really goes out to the techs that are doing a great job. I saw some customers with great pedicures (I was jealous that I didn't get their tech).

The only advice I can offer the salon is to make sure all of your texts are warm and friendly, and that they fully understand what they are doing. There were times when I felt like I was just a dollar sign that needed to quickly be in and out. Even the illusion of paying attention to details can go a long way.

The work isn't so bad that I wouldn't advise anyone from ever going, but if you do choose to, make sure you look around at what techs are producing what level of work. Just go during a more busy time and watch people leave the salon. Check their nails, and if you like them, ask for that tech.

UPDATE: Within 24 hours, I noticed that I now have a nail infection on one of my toes. I took a photo and uploaded it. Most likely it was because there was so much intense clipping happening in the seams of my toes without proper cleansing. There was so much clipping happening that I was concerned that I might start bleeding (that didn't happen). Also the soap from my pedicure was just wiped off my foot and not properly rinsed. Now I have to spend additional money at the clinic to get this treated 🤦No pretty toes for...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Nail Talk & Spa for a nail treatment, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish! I am absolutely delighted with the service I received and wanted to share my positive feedback.

First and foremost, the staff at Nail Talk & Spa were incredibly friendly and welcoming. As soon as I entered, I was greeted with warm smiles and a genuine eagerness to assist me (His name is Ken aka Khanh smile). The salon had a relaxing and clean ambiance, creating the perfect atmosphere for a pampering session.

The technician who attended to me was highly skilled and knowledgeable. They took the time to understand my preferences and provided excellent recommendations based on what I was looking for. Their attention to detail was impeccable, ensuring that every aspect of my nail treatment was executed flawlessly.

Not only was the service top-notch, but the quality of the products used at this store was exceptional. From the wide range of nail polish colors to the premium-grade nail care products, everything demonstrated a commitment to excellence. I felt confident in the hygiene standards maintained throughout the treatment, which is especially important in today's world.

Furthermore, the pricing here is incredibly reasonable for the level of service provided. I felt that I received excellent value for my money, making it even more satisfying. They truly understand the importance of customer satisfaction and offer a level of service that exceeds expectations.

Overall, I cannot recommend it enough! If you're looking for a nail salon that offers exceptional service, a friendly atmosphere, and uses high-quality products, look no further. My experience was nothing short of fantastic, and I will definitely be returning for future treatments. Five stars all the way!

Thank you, Nail Talk & Spa , for providing such a wonderful experience. Keep up the excellent work!

Best...

I would never come here again and here’s why. I made an appointment at 3pm. I wanted to come because I needed them done in a decent amount of time (i am a nail technician myself) because I had plans that evening. The girl doing my nails was coughing during the entire appointment. The acrylic application itself was completely off which told me this wasn’t going to be good. She starts the filing process and one of my middle fingers is leaning completely to the left. I waited until she was done filing to kindly ask her if it can be fixed. One of the other women come over and she starts to aggressively file my nails to fix what the other girl had done and now my nails are in so much pain from the pressure of the filing. She filed so much that it isn’t even the length I requested because she cut it down so short. The woman tells the girl to cut my middle finger nail off and start over. I couldn’t believe that they wanted me to pay full price $75… for these and would have made me wait another 30-45 mins to fix one nail even though I didn’t like this entire set as is. I told the manager that I can spend another 45 mins to fix one nail because it’s been 2 hours already and I had plans. Basically, I left with one missing nail and told them I’d just fix it myself or have someone else. I requested a discounted price and he only took off $7…. I am still in complete shock of this experience and have never walked out of a nail salon with so much pain and an incomplete set with several interviews coming up and other obligations. Please do not come here if you want quality work.

I got an acrylic fill and regular pedicure. The woman who did the fill initially messed up the shape of my nail (even though I said the same shape that I walked in with). Another woman had to come over to fix the shape. Then after the gel color hardened from the UV light, there were bumps/bubbles on four of my nails. She saw the bumps and was going to let me walk out like that until I asked, “are you planning to fix these?” The shapes of my nails are inconsistent. On top of it, I sat at the pedi dryer for 45 minutes to make sure the polish was dry because last time the woman put the polish on too thick that it was messed up by the time I got home. Well apparently 45 minutes isn’t enough because the polish still wasn’t dry and I had to fix my own pedi when I got home. I asked for a refund of the pedi because this was the second time this happened at this salon. The manager blamed me saying, “this always happens with regular pedi, why didn’t you get a gel pedi?” I’ve never had this happen at any other salon with regular polish. She also asked why I didn’t wear sandals. Maybe because it was winter the first time the pedi messed up and it was raining the second time. How do they deal with winter customers?!? Needless to say I will not be returning and highly recommend you find another salon.
