Update: My SNS manicure started chipping and the nails are coming off 2 weeks after the service. Usually my acrylic manicures last for at least a month. I called because a response was left on my review, but they could only offer to fix it if I came back which I wouldn’t be able to do.

I rarely leave reviews of places, but I really did not enjoy my experience here: For one thing, the only person who was personable and hospitable throughout my visit was the receptionist who went out of her way to be nice to my friend and I. The technicians who did my manicure and pedicure were not friendly and hardly said anything to me throughout my service and I felt like they were rushing the whole time. The woman who did my toes kept checking her phone (presumably for the time) during my pedicure, but it seemed like she did a decent job as I was leaving the salon. Only a few hours later, I noticed that the corner of one of my toes was lifting. When I touched it to check if it was just excess polish, the polish started peeling up in a layer. This is ridiculous considering that I paid an extra $20 for gel polish, which normally lasts several weeks (at least) from other salons I've visited. As for my SNS manicure, which was recommended by the receptionist and the other reviews for this business, the manicure itself looks fine, but the man who did my nails checked if they were dry at the end of my service with his finger before applying cuticle oil. I didn't notice in the shop, but his fingerprint indented my nails and smudged two of my other nails which are now dull. They look generally on the thicker side for my preference, but he waited until he put the top coat to stop and ask if I liked the shape and style. He also seemed to be in a rush for some reason and he did not clean all the powder off my nails, which had also got all over my clothes before he was done. Needless to say, I...

August 2022 review: today the woman in the picture was incredibly rude who refused to answer my questions and help when I asked simple questions. I believe she’s racist as she keeps getting up from her black customers to serve other white customers. I live within walking distance of this nail salon and will continue to come and update my review until they learn that the business serves the customer and not the other way around. I’ve been here two hours to get a 15 minute POLISH CHANGE ON MY TOES.

April 2022 review: I’ve come to this nail salon consistently since they opened. I’ve been coming here for about 5 months. Today I waited an hour for service and I told them it was my second time getting SNS. They had me sit and wait the entire time no one asked me any clarifying questions about what service I was receiving. To my surprise, SNS must be soaked off and I was very upset because I could have been soaking off the entire time I was waiting but I didn’t know because I don’t get this service and no one helped me the whole hour. I told the technician I didn’t want to wait to soak off my nails and I wanted to think about something else I can do and he (Mike) got up and started servicing someone else. Making rude comments like “if you can’t make up your mind I have to serve someone else.” I told him I needed a moment to think. He got up and walked away within 60 seconds of my just realizing I would now have to wait additional time to soak off nails.

This was incredibly disrespectful and terrible customer service.

Not to mention they only have 3 nail technicians working and it is a Friday evening which is traditionally high volume time for a nail salon. Especially one...

I am extremely dissatisfied with the service and professionalism here. I had my old acrylic nails removed and gel/acrylic toe polish and was charged $40 total for just REMOVAL. Once I was told this price, I was immediately taken back because my nails were roughly popped off and the entire process took all of 20 minutes & usually I may pay $10-20. Not to mention their full sets start at $40 so it’s ridiculous to pay that just to get my nails/toes taken off. When I asked the “manager” at the front about the price breakdown, she was extremely rude and could not show me where on their menu it says $20 to get my nails snatched off. Not to mention they were very brittle, stinging, and damaged afterwards.

I was very polite and calm and simply asked a few questions and told her I would not be able to afford $40 total for that service and she called the police on me and said well you can talk to them about it. Very racist and rude. I did not even refuse to pay at all, I just wanted to negotiate because I was unsatisfied with the service as well as the fact that I did not receive a soak off removal so why am I paying $20 to dangerously get my nails popped off?? I waited a second because I honestly would have loved to talk to police about this situation, but I had an appointment approaching so after a while I just decided to pay and leave. But I will definitely not be back. Overpriced, unfriendly, dangerous technique, and an extremely micro aggressive establishment. I will not be back and if you are a person of...

As someone whose nail designs and shape have inspired hundreds of thousands on social media for over a decade, I’m extremely particular about who touches my nails. I was visiting Atlanta from Los Angeles and a friend recommended I book with Lena at Bijoux Nail Bar in Midtown and I’m so glad I did. From the moment I arrived for my 10:30 AM appointment, I was greeted by a kind and patient staff. There was no wait. We started right on time, and they even offer 2 free hours of parking in the deck connected to the shop (major bonus). They did my gel pedicure and full set at the same time, which was such a time saver. Lena and Lauren went above and beyond to help match the color I showed them in a video, and they were both incredibly patient and sweet while I made my final decision. The entire team was genuinely friendly—not because they recognized me or knew my following (They didn’t. I booked under an alias), but because that’s just how they treated every customer that was in there. That says a lot. My nails came out stunning! The shape, length, and color are absolutely perfect. If you're in the Midtown Atlanta area and looking for high-quality nails with top-tier service, I highly recommend Bijoux Nail Bar. Ask for Lena. You won’t be disappointed.
