I visited "Auschwitz Not Long Ago. Not Far Away." exhibit. It is difficult to say "I loved it" with a five ⭐ rating dealing with the subject matter. I was moved by what I experienced and impressed with how the exhibits were set up. You could move at your own pace and not be crowded even though there were a lot of people. Give yourself about five 🕔 hours to see all of exhibits and to stop at the thirty points where you listen to a recording on a device that you are given once you get past the metal detector. With the history of Auschwitz being explained and the interviews with survivors, I learned so much I didn't know, especially about the original purpose of Auschwitz. I arrived when the exhibits opened. Security checked my phone 📱 for my online ticket 🎫. You have to go through a metal detector. You are given a bag for your umbrella ☔. The building itself is fascinating! It has its own Wikipedia page 📄, though you wonder how reliable Wikipedia is these days. There are levels I didn't visit, other than the coat room 🧥 and bathroom, and I liked the style of the inside of the building. I wanted so much to explore all of the inside! The outside architecture is impressive. You cannot miss it even if you drive by. Update: January 2025; The Titanic Exhibit was well done 👍. The staff at the entrance were excellent and took security seriously. Allow about three- four hrs to explore. I learned a few new 🆕 facts and seeing the artifacts up close was great! A few of the displays looked like they were from the movie 🎥 Titanic! I had a chance to see some of the inside this time. I recommend visiting the current exhibit! I will be on the lookout for future events at this location! I have used the Spot Hero app to find parking 🅿️ for each event.

We had the extreme privilege to view the Auschwitz exhibit here on display until September 2024. Honestly, there are no words for how inspiring this exhibit was and just how sad and helpless you feel experiencing what these poor families went through. It's heart wrenching. The Castle itself is in great shape and probably the best place to have an exhibit like this. The bathrooms are conveniently placed and the exhibit perfectly laid out. The one thing that stinks which will be anywhere in Boston is the parking. There is no free on sight but plenty of lots and garages all around. If you go to the exhibit make sure you book your tickets in advance and show up a little early to get in. It's a self guided tour that lasts about 2 hours if you look and listen to all 33 stops.

My family and I attended the Titanic Exhibit at Saunders Castle and came away very impressed. We had never heard of this "castle" in the heart of downtown Boston before, so I was skeptical at first. In actuality, this looks like a repurposed old Armory, which has been completely upgraded. The venue is very well maintained and has been nicely refurbished, with some of the nicest public bathrooms and a huge space with very high ceilings, almost cathedral-like in fact. There is a paid parking lot right behind the castle and there are several hotels, restaurants, pubs/bars in the immediate vicinity. The Titanic Exhibit was terrific by the way and was a great match for this historic venue. If you've never been, do not hesitate to check out this venue and the area nearby.

The Downton Abbey World Exhibition is currently at the Castle in Boston, Every day 10am to 6pm last entry is 4:30pm as it takes minimal a hour n half to breeze through it. VIP ticket is the best way anytime entry as reserve an hourly entrance to the Exhibit really isn't good plus you get the Audio included. The only thing missing is Lady Mary's Bedroom as she's my favorite of the actors. If you curled up on the sofa with wine and grapes, cheese, etc on every Sunday evening not missing an episode. You must get to an Exhibit. Here in Boston it's set up in Little China and Little Italy a short walk from the the Theater District. Less then a 20 minute walk from South Station. I've seen the Garments at Biltmore Estates as I'm a passholder there. Saw it at Cheekwood Mansion Nashville, they let everyone ring the servents bells. They had a limo out by the front door. I saw the Exhibition in NYC. I heard West Palm Beach was the best as everything was put out. Next Stop, BILTMORE ESTATES Ashville, NC the best in USA! Christmas at Biltmore! Downton Abbey Exhibit while the Christmas season is the best time to see the Mansion in retrospect to the era. You can not miss it! This is the time you have to go to the Biltmore, Asheville NC. Us Passholder's have to pay 20.00 to see the Exhibition as it's spread out in various locations across the Estate. The day ticket will be one in all. Now getting back to Castle At The Park, Boston. I enjoyed it quite well, staff was awesome quite knowledgeable of the series and your allowed to take all the pictures with out flash. No videos. Fanatic fans of Downton Abbey it's a must cross off your bucket list. See you at the Mansion at Biltmore! I practically live there with being...

I went to the Castle at Park Plaza on Monday for "Not long ago. Not far away" - this was my second time coming here for an exhibition and it was a noticeable improvement from my first visit. I highly recommend attending events here on weekdays if possible, it is a smaller venue and I distinctly remember it being too crowded to enjoy on my last visit - which fell on a weekend. The event itself while being a dark subject was very informative and the spaces layout was planned well. My only criticism would be for the hand held audio guides, each room in the exhibit had an audio "tour" with a corresponding number to key into the guide for the audio to play. Unfortunately several of the audio tours did not work when you keyed them into the device, I noticed several other patrons had the same issue so it was not isolated. Besides the audio guide snafu, over all this is a well run event...
