Dick's 5 & 10 — Attraction in Branson

If you are looking for quirky, or nostalgic, or just something you just haven't come across before, its probably in this shop. This little gem of a store has literally just about anything a person could want from clothing, to games, toys, to kitchen accessories, housewares, old and new. Give yourself some time to visit unless you know exactly what you are looking for. Parking is street parking on Main street so give yourself a couple extra minutes in case the parking in front of the store is full. This shop is floor to ceiling (literally) chalked full of things to see. If you are looking for a gift, or a toy you remember having as a kid, or just something to catch your eye, you will not be disappointed. Note that the check out area is a little cramped just due to the age of the store so it might not be the best place or the easiest place for a wheelchair or rolling walker. The staff is super friendly and they will bag your items for you and recommend other items they think you might like as well. There is a model train over head so if you are wandering around with kids be sure to point it out when you hear the steam...

Dick's five and dime This is a wonderful place to stop in Branson and just tour all throughout the store. You be overwhelmed with the absolute amount of products that they have distributed all through this store.. If you need it, want it collect it. Acquire it Dick's five a dime can set you up with it.

If you're into board games, Dick's 5 and dime is absolutely packed with the most board games I've ever seen under One roof for a store this size.

We went here to see it on the recommendation of others. It is a store that is truly for all ages. It will have your head turning because of the vast amount of things there are to see. It has stuff from the days of the old five and dime, but don't expect that from their prices. It is nowhere near that, but in all fairness, how could it be? Just to look back at some of the things that we use to love as children brought back so many memories. You pick up things and remember when... oh well, you get the idea. The store is packed with this kind of stuff! The younger children in the store were shopping just as hard as I was. Truly worth the trip down memory lane. I gave it 3 stars because some of the candy was still currently sold and it was over priced as if it was nostalgic. Not Good. Fair is Fair. Keep what you can at a reasonable price! Business was good and there are item I am sure I haven't seen elsewhere in a long time. If you get to Branson stop by for a trip down...
