A thrilling ride with unforgettable viewsāParakeet Peteās Waterfront Zipline is a Branson Landing highlight!
We had a fantastic experience at Parakeet Peteās Waterfront Zipline in Branson Landing, MO. Itās a unique attraction that sends you soaring over Lake Taneycomo, offering breathtaking views of the water, boardwalk, and surrounding Ozark hills. The setup is smooth and safe, making it a great choice for families looking for a little adventure.
š§ Our daughter was a bit nervous at first, but the friendly staff helped her feel comfortable and secure. Once she took off, her fear turned into pure excitement. She was beaming by the time she landed, and couldnāt stop talking about how ācoolā it was to fly over the lake. Itās a short ride, but the thrill and scenery make it totally worth it.
š The waterfront location adds to the charm. You launch from the boardwalk and glide across the lake, with panoramic views that are especially stunning at sunset. Itās a great way to see Branson from a new perspective.
šļø Tickets are reasonably priced, and you can bundle them with other Parakeet Peteās attractions like the Sky Deck or Steampunk Balloon. The area is surrounded by shops, restaurants, and entertainment, so itās easy to make a full day of it.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe approached this ride with my five year old granddaughter and three of us adults. We asked at the ticket counter if there was a height restriction, he indicated they have to be as tall as the counter. We checked her in front of him and said, sheās the same height, is that ok? He said yes. We paid and stood in line. She was so excited to do this ride, and we watched others take their turns. But when it was our turn the ride operator woman announced āsheās not tall enough ā. We explained we checked her, but she marched us over to the counter where there is a little line on the wall, and we then saw she was 1/4ā short. The woman was not nice about it, very firm, no other explanation. Our granddaughter was so disappointed. We were disappointed as well, and felt embarrassed with the way we were treated. Two of us went on the ride, but it knocked the fun out for all of us. They couldnāt refund right away, had to deal with it throughout the afternoon. The ride itself was not great, but ok, though Iām sure it was tainted by how we had...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy experience was much like the other reviewers - the guy working was extremely rude. I also paid for one ride and was told we get a free ride. My girlfriend and her daughter rode and I wanted to go on the second run, but he refused to let us switch. When we asked him why we couldn't do that, he explained, very unapologetically, it's "just the rules", he said he let some other people do that earlier but we couldn't because "it was slower now" - no sense whatsoever. All while her 10 yr old daughter stood and watched him be downright MEAN for no reason. He refused to tell us his name, but I think I heard an employee call him Paul. I really cannot believe how rude this guy was and didn't understand what we did wrong for him to talk to us the way he did! I live in the area and see many "tourists" on their way to Branson and we will be sure and tell them to steer clear of this place. VERY...
