The trail was great. The first mile or so takes you along a pretty creek, and then you go further into the woods, away from the water. The trail is definitely easy, and moderately trafficked. We chose this trail for my sister, who is recovering from ankle surgery, but it was perfect! We went at the end of September, so it was a little chilly, but not bad. There were still a lot of fall colors to be seen!

This trail was truly magical. Runs along the river, winds up and down. Lots of spots to sit by the river. It does have a lot of varying terrain but we managed it with our kiddos (ages 6 and 2.5 and 1.5). You can go as far as you want and turn back at any point or cross back over the river to get back to the ski hill area.

Beautiful, mostly shaded hike along a stream. Some moderate incline for the younger kids (9 & 7), but nothing they couldn't handle. Several hikers coming back down said they saw a moose just off the trail, we never did. Nice spots along the way to stop and soak in nature's beauty and quiet.

Nice easy trail for an afternoon walk. Coming from town, you’ll walk by the lift lines until reaching a fork in the road off to the left. At this point the trailhead sign is clearly visible.

Much of the trail is shaded by the forest trees, but sun screen is still recommended. The trail is not a loop, so you can turn around...
