If you’re considering using this company for property management you should seek other options. I’d be embarrassed about their unprofessionalism and lack of accountability if this was my property team.
I rented a place they manage and after checking into the unit at one ski hill it was clear this weekend would fall well short of my expectations. They have several amenities listed as present and accessible but aren’t. The main pool was closed when we checked in, the outdoor hot tub has been closed for weeks and there are no grills on the property. I asked if the fireplace works since it’s listed as broken on the listing. They replied back that yes, it does work. What a surprise when we weren’t able to use the pool, hot tub, grills or fireplace. When I brought this to the attention of the company I was told that the owner of the unit wasn’t ready to spend $10,000 on the repair and it was the HOAs fault that they weren’t notified of the issues at the pools. I’d expect my management company to earn their fee, keep the listings updated and provide a great experience so my clients would want to return year after year $
They offered a very small discount to the rate ($25/nt) or I could pack up my family of 5 and move up the street. They said the new place often rents for more but that weeekend wasn’t the case and clearly they don’t understand the inconvenience of packing up 3 kids, loading up a car, going to the new hotel and unpacking again. In a condescending tone they kept telling me it was just a 60 second drive.
To compound matters when these issues were brought up they told me I violated their check in policy and would do me the favor or not charging a hourly fee. The day before we checked in we received a confirmation text and asked about an early check in. They said they would try and the very next day we received a text at 8:30am with instructions to gaining access, never once mentioning this wasn’t approval for an early checkin and not to enter.
They talk a big game but clearly don’t follow their own procedures and try deflect responsibility. It’s your job to keep your employees on the same page and represent your clients property correctly for their financial benefit.
I just researched a couple of there so-called 5 star reviews and they look suspicious, possibly from friends or employees. Some of the people leaving reviews have cut and pasted the save review to several of the Grand Welcome locations. Take a look for yourself and ask what kind of company solicits reviews and then cross posts them to other locations. Feels deceitful and very amateur. I’d hate to see...
Read moreI really enjoyed my stay in a Grand Welcome home in Mammoth Lakes, CA. This is my second time renting from Grand Welcome and both times were really great. The most recent trip was a great location (St. Moritz) and the home was very clean and surprisingly much nicer than the pictures! The rooms were large and the King size beds were very nice and comfortable. I appreciated the larger beds, 2 king bedrooms and one loft with 2 queen beds made our stay very comfortable. It was perfect for a family and friends trip! The kitchen was nice and updated. My favorite part was the mudroom with ski/snowboard racks and benches - I love that there was enough room for our gear and somewhere safe to store it all. I will definitely be booking with Grand Welcome again. Great prices, nice homes, and excellent...

Grand Welcome also seems to truly value the neighborhood feel of Breckenridge, ensuring that our guests are appropriate and respectful of our home, our neighbors, and our beautiful community....
