Great place for dinner and drinks. Liked it enough that we came here again a second night. On first visit, had reservations for an early dinner mid-week. Obviously a popular spot as no open times were available for the normal dinner timeframe from around 5:30 to 7:30PM. Even though we did get reservations, came a bit earlier and decided just to sit at the bar. Nice ambiance and friendly bartender, so we did the same on our next visit also. No reservations the second time, but no problem getting a seat. They have a happy hour that runs from 3-5:30PM, with discounts on several smaller appetizers and some drinks. Atmosphere Nice cozy interior, both bar and restaurant have a comfortable vibe, not formal, but also not your typical ski resort town hangout. Only thing out of place was a smell around the entrance, maybe cleaning solution as the restrooms are located near this area. Staff Excellent! Very attentive without being in your face, perfect blend of making sure you get what you need without bothering you when you are eating, in conversation, etc. One of their staff didn’t show up the first night, and they managed well with everybody working hard to keep the place going. Food Very good! On our first visit decided to split everything starting with the the Brussels sprouts appetizer, a side salad, and a meal. The meals offer a 1-2 person size and a larger family size, so we just went with the former. The Brussels sprouts appetizer was excellent, however it a HUGE portion…could have easily been shared by 4 people with major portions for each. Luckily they forgot our salad which actually turned out well because after about 1/2 of appetizer, we were already half full. Our main dish was the Penne alla Gorgonzola (Gorgonzola cream sauce, chicken, red grapes, baby spinach). It was very good, but easily a 2 person sized portion. (Can’t say you don’t get your food here!) On our second visit, again sat at the bar and this time ordered food from the happy hour menu, which offers smaller $10 plates that are from a variety of the main menu items. Again splitting, we ordered 3 of these happy hour selections, and it was perfect for a small dinner for the two of us. We had the Artichoke Frittata (Artichoke hearts lightly breaded, served with garlic lemon aioli), the Caprese salad, and the Shrimp Scampi. All were excellent, and again, 3 of these small dishes were enough for a light meal for the 2 of us. Overall very much enjoyed going here, excellent service, good food. Would I go there again…most definitely. Would I recommend…absolutely.

My meal was lovely in appearance and taste from appetizer to entree to desert. The pizza (Supremo) was the best I have ever tasted. I should point out I have made pizza for a living and cook wood fired pizza at home regularly, the Supremo beat them all. Each topping was treated with respect and the colors so vibrant (see picture). The penne alla vodka with chicken was delicious, and reheated well too. The family portion is pretty big, enough for at least 4 people in my opinion. It wasn't over sauced like that dish common is. Chicken parmesan is another routinely botched dish, not here. It is crisp and well fried, and served with the right amount of pasta and sauce, topped with some thinly shaved cheese (not buried in cheese) and basil. The desert was wonderful as well. I failed to get a good photo of the tiramisu, but it was the best I have eaten anywhere. Service was accommodating of our party and very good. It wasn't lightning quick, but if you want something to eat RFN go to the frozen section at City Market. You can't rush quality of taste and visual appeal like I experienced at Sauce on the Maggie. Relax and take your palate and eyes on a feast. I will be back to try other things.

Went here for a food and wine pairing dinner for $130. Most things that could have gone wrong seemed to. The wait staff seemed to consistently forget to bring our table wine all evening. The scallops were very good, the pasta was fine, but the main dish came out room temperature (aka cold) and the risotto was bland. Portions were small. They also seem to have forgotten about a dairy-free meal for one of our party until after everyone else at our table had finished their course. We went at least a half hour with every single water glass at our table empty. The restaurant was incredibly loud, to the point where the wine specialist on the loudspeaker was completely unintelligible. The waiters apparently missed an entire table waving at them several times. One of our party had to get up no less than 3 times to have things corrected. This event was run incredibly poorly. And as a final announcement at the end of the evening, they mentioned they had made a "typo" on the menu and the prices for the wines were all approximately 3x what was listed.

If you’re thinking of dining here, know this: I witnessed our waitress throwing up in the bathroom during our meal, only for her to walk out of the stall, say nothing, and go back to serving food. When I told the manager, he admitted he “couldn’t believe it was happening” - but instead of handling it professionally, he brought me into an uncomfortable conversation with the waitress herself, who insisted she was just “washing her face.” The manager told me he "wasn’t in the business of questioning his staff" and refused to do anything about our bill. That moment alone was appalling, but unfortunately, the entire evening had already been a disaster from the start.

We had a reservation for a party of 14, confirmed in advance and noted it was for my sister-in-law’s birthday. From the beginning, service was a mess. My mother-in-law’s first glass of wine was spoiled (it tasted like vinegar). We waited over an hour and a half before receiving food, and by the time dishes came out, multiple orders were wrong - including the birthday girl’s. Some people were completely done eating before others had even been served.

When the acting manager, Dylan, finally came over, he claimed there had only been “one mistake.” We discreetly corrected him, explaining there had actually been three. He promised to send out desserts as an apology, but after more than 15 minutes of waiting, he brought just two small desserts for all 14 of us to share - and still no birthday dessert for my sister-in-law. We also had to ask several times just to get boxes for leftovers.

As if the service wasn’t bad enough, the atmosphere was unbearable. A rehearsal dinner group next to us was extremely disruptive, to the point of harassing another table - shushing them and mocking them loudly throughout the night. The staff did nothing to intervene, leaving the entire dining room tense and uncomfortable.

By the end of dinner, I was mortified. This was a special weekend for my family - I was hosting relatives for my wedding - and what should have been a celebratory meal turned into an embarrassing ordeal. When I confronted the manager about the overall experience, he offered only a small discount for the messed-up meals. Then, to top it all off, the horrifying incident with the waitress in the bathroom made me genuinely concerned for everyone’s health.

This restaurant provided one of the most unprofessional, unpleasant, and downright disgusting dining experiences I have ever had. Between the spoiled wine, long delays, botched orders, dismissive management, and a waitress throwing up mid-shift while still serving food, I cannot stress enough: avoid this place...

I was the bride at our event and I can honestly say I have never experienced such a horrible dinner. Everything from the beginning was terrible. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone having an event, especially a wedding. This tarnished what was a perfect day otherwise. I was in tears and could not enjoy the night. I have listed out quite literally why this ‘celebration’ dinner was a bust from the beginning. I will note that 2 of our waiters were very caring through the situation, but the manager should be termed. His behavior was childish and disrespectful. I hope no one else has to go though what we did.

The doors to the restaurant were locked when guests arrived (they had been ‘open’ for almost 2 hours

They said “oh, we didn’t know we had a wedding event” to my guests. I spoke to Jen and Ranay multiple times. Picked out appetizers ect and nothing was prepared. I had to reorder apps and tell people where to sit ect

They had no idea they would be cutting our cake?? Then they proceeded to take the top of our cake and it seemingly disappeared until I asked for it 3 times to be brought out.

During this whole thing 2 of my guests never ate at the restaurant. The food just never came out. We were there past 9pm.

The manager, Donnie (might be spelled wrong) was absolutely horrible to speak to. He was confrontational, pointing in my face, and just taking all blame off of himself. Telling me that others patrons had not received their food yet (like that improves anything) and best of all when referring to my guests not eating “It’s okay, they are not going to die”. A true treasure of an employee here.

Overall this was a horrible experience. I do...
