Christy Sports Breckenridge Main Street Station — Local services in Breckenridge

I will never go anywhere else to rent a bike or get my bike serviced! Jett Meier - manager of the Christy Sports location on Main Street - might actually be the nicest person ever. I went to Breckenridge with my son on June 21st planning to take the gondola up with our bikes and ride down the mountain the next day. We ran into some issues with both of our bikes (which had just been serviced before we put them in the car) and we thought our weekend was on the brink of being ruined. That was until we happened to stop into Jett's shop, pretty much right before closing. He fixed both of our bikes and even stayed a bit after they closed to do it. I ended up going back the next day to rent a full suspension bike for our ride, a much better plan than riding my very old mountain bike down the face of Breck. Very reasonable prices and beyond friendly service (even got a great recommendation from the rest of the crew for a place for dinner and breakfast). I went to Christy Sports at Main Street Station in Breckenridge needing new skis. I talked with Scott Fines about skiing in general and my skiing in particular. After understanding what I was looking for he suggested I try out several skis. A few days later I tried out four different pairs of skis and of those I really liked two different pairs. I was trying to decide which to get and after talking at length with Scott and another gentleman in the store I was able to make a decision I was happy with. Scott then went over new bindings options and he then rang up everything and gave me a very good and fair deal. He even said the skis would be ready first thing the following morning! This was my first time dealing with Scott but my sixth time dealing with Christy Sports for skis for my family and me. Every employee I have interacted with at every Christy Sports I have been to has been both friendly and knowledgeable. I won’t buy skis without demoing them and the Main Street Station location in Breckenridge makes it easy to try out several pairs of skis in a single day.

I have never written a review for "any" business but felt compelled to take the time to do it for Christy Sports – these guys are hands down about the customer. Kyle Clark the equipment mgr and his guys are an A+ team.

My wife and I rented Demo packages and after skiing the 1st day felt we had gotten the best gear to date after years of skiing. That unfortunately came to an end into the 2nd day when she tore her ACL.

Now I come to the reason I am writing this review. When we came in to return her skis ~2 days early I expected to get maybe one day rental back and nothing for me since it was my wife that was injured.

To my surprise "Kyle" the equipment rental mgr stepped in and said they wanted to give a 100% refund for my wife and a day back to me since I wasn't skiing after the accident. He basically said they didn't want to cash in on a bad experience even though it had nothing to do with them.

WOW!!!

"Kyle Clark" that is A1 top notch customer service. We ski quite a bit and will tell you we are sold on you guys, we'll be back as soon as the wife is good to go. See you soon!!!
