Would give zero stars if I could. Arrived and there was no one at the front desk to check us in for almost a full hour. When they finally arrived and gave us our key,the key card did not work at the room. We had to drive back from the parking garage across the property back to the main office to obtain a new card. Upon finally getting into the room ,there was (what used to be) an old ac control panel with the cover off and wires exposed underneath. It was close to 100° outside and the inside of the room was extremely uncomfortable. The website listing on chase travel did not specify there is no a/c in this hotel. However,according to the manager of this location,their website does state there is no air condition. Between the extremely poor customer service and false advertising,we went to a different hotel. As we were leaving,the front desk lady,who was apparently the only staff there in the entire building, commiserated expressing she would try to assist with a refund. She also stated she has been told her manager would hire more staff for months and has not done so,when we were waiting to check in,she was finally taking her first break of the day. I did receive a call from a manager who completely invalidated my concerns and experience,but I can't say I expected anything more when they treat their staff so poorly. This place is disgusting and management should be ashamed of themselves for not only their demeanor and lack of empathy for customers/staff, but for their blatant greed as well. Read moreOn our first full day, a maintenance guy came into our unit to check our toilet. it was leaking water. 24 hours after he diagnosed the problem, there was still no fix. This was NOT clean water from the tank, but the water as it enters the sewage system. Black water. The leak was bad enough that it was leaking into the restaurant below and completely soaked our shower mat.
After more than a day, I approached management and told them I was leaving and wanted a full refund of our remaining days. They offered another unit, but I had selected ours very carefully to deal with noise and medical issues (didn't want one above the second floor) and said no. The manager AGREED to refund our money. Problem is that our cost per day was over $250, but she refunded us $25/day.
So, sewage water leaked into our bathroom and into the restaurant below, creating a significant health hazard. Nothing fixed for over 24 hours. Nothing was done to sanitize our bathroom. Management lied to us about refunding our money.
The quality of a hotel is determined by how they take care of you when times are bad, not when everything goes well. Vacasa and Main Street Station failed miserably. Ask yourself, is this where I want to stay if something goes wrong? No. Absolutely not....
Read moreI stayed here probably about 10 years ago and had a great time. Literally just checked in today and in 1 day such a mess. The staff at the desk was extremely rude. It was obvious they just wanted to leave the counter. Get to our room fireplace does not work. Have called 4 times with no resolve. Very frustrated at this point.
Adding to my review as check out wasn't any better. Went to breakfast the morning of checkout. Took a little longer than expected. Checkout was 10 am we were in the elevator to go to our room and get our bags at 10:01. They cut our key off. I then had to go to the front desk where the girl who was stoned out of her mind by the looks of her eyes informed me that check out was at 10 am and that I can not get a new key. I asked her what am I supposed to do just leave 3 bags with ski gear in my room and go home. Finally after arguing with here she game me a 30 min temp key.
