Mattress Firm Catoosa — Attraction in Catoosa

Was disappointed. I ended up buying a mattress, but I feel like I didn't get a good deal at all. All of mattress firm's Black Friday ads boasted about big savings and many beds coming with free adjustable bases--as well as an additional 15% off of purchases over $699.

I arrived to find that those specials are for "corporate stores only, and that they don't have any corporate stores in the Tulsa area." The bed and base I bought were still "on sale," but it felt like a big let down, because it was the supposed Black Friday sales that got me interested in the first place.

Also, wouldn't give me the advertised military discount. I understand discounts don't compile, but if you are going to be the franchise of a company advertising 42,763 different types of discounts, you gotta give something. Otherwise, you look like a you-know-what...

While the sales person was hospitable, he really had no answers to our questions. We realize stores have their policies the sales reps have to abide by, but not being told how long something will be on sale, or the charge of $80 to just drop off deliver something 20 miles away was a deal-breaker for us. Also, he had no knowledge of where some of the mattresses they carried were manufactured or who made them. He said they didn't have the mattresses in stock in the store, and we would have to go into Tulsa to pick one up ourselves. Waiting for it to be brought to the store location from the warehouse could be a week or two possibly. It just didn't fit our needs. We were not impressed and just decided to order...

Mandy from the Sand Springs store was in Catoosa helping out. She helped me with my desired mattress choices 3 weeks ago. She helped me again today with my purchase. She's very kind and considerate with her customers. She explained everything and answered all my questions. I would do business with her anytime.

There was one young man at the Catoosa store I walked out on about 2 weeks ago. He was very rude and as much as called me a liar when I mentioned a quoted price that I got from Mandy about a foundation. If he were in the store today when I purchased my mattress, I would not have...
