Westpointe Plaza — Attraction in Columbus

I really don't like coming here anymore. I'm very understanding of panhandling and I give when i'm able to. I've been homeless myself but I never asked others for money They come up to the car. I've been interrupted very rudely on a very important phone call. (If you're rude or cannot give someone the time they need to take care of themselves- i'm not giving you anything!!) I've had people sitting down ask me for something when my hands are full and i'm busy, expecting me to drop everything and walk it over to them. Hint of advice: being kind and understanding that EVERYONE STRUGGLES AND HAS BAD DAYS- will get you further. Offer help, even a friendly face Mean mugging or trying to make me feel uncomfortable will not help either.. I've been in every situation already. I know the hustles and the games!! Why am I even reviewing this shopping center? Honestly, the parking situation should disqualify it from consideration altogether. Before you even step foot inside, you’re already stressed. The lot is a chaotic mess of tight spaces, terrible design, and endless circling. It’s like a demolition derby with shopping carts.

Want to “pop in” for a quick errand? Good luck. By the time you find a spot — if you find one — you’ve wasted 20 minutes, developed road rage, and questioned your life choices. It’s hard to enjoy any store or food court when your visit starts with a parking lot panic attack.

The center itself could be amazing, but who cares? If your first and last experience is a gauntlet of fender-benders and angry honks, what’s the point? Great retail shouldn’t come with a side of vehicular combat.

The only complaint I have is that all the parking spots are made for subcompact cars! There isn't a single space in that entire parking lot that can FULLY accommodate my Ram 2500 Crew Cab!! Unless I take up to spaces, the back end of my vehicle sticks out at LEAST 2 feet (into the driving lane!) As both my husband and myself are handicap, we either park where we can get to store or we have to park way, way, way out, where we can take up those 2 spots - but then we CANNOT MAKE IT INTO ANY OF...
