Apna Bazar Farmers Market — Attraction in Brookside

Do grocery stores only store groceries? I used to believe so until I visited this Apna Bazar. Earlier, I either had to dig into coolers to find age-old vegetables or walk the narrow, overcrowded lanes to pick what I needed from the counters.

It isn’t the case here. A wide-open and spacious store welcomes me with a huge smile the moment I step in. Workers and owners are friendly, helpful and supportive no matter what I have on the list. The staff and the store respect me, value me for who I am by giving me the space I need: To look, walk and talk. No matter what I am looking for I have always been in luck. Fresh and high-quality farm produce is neatly heaped at respectable distances. An abundance of a wide variety of items gives me a rich choice.

It was my first order placed with them. A best destination for Indian Groceries, you will get almost everything here, during the lock down where its tough and not safe to go out, they started home delivery service. The Ordering groceries was very easy, one can go through the product list on the website and write them a mail, they revert on the mail almost on same day, they will resolve the queries at earliest. After placing the order, you will receive call from the Shop and you can modify or confirm the order. I had placed my orders around 3 PM and I received the Product around 9 PM itself, which is really appreciating effort. Only one thing I felt, vegetables I ordered did not last longer than expected. I just hope the vegetables were fresh.

They have a great selection and what seems to be good prices on vegetables and groceries. However that is all I can say about this location. They do not offer any non veg products and that is very disappointing. As I was in line I asked a cashier if they were going to be selling them in the future, seeing as they had just opened, she said no they will be only selling veg products. I was confused seeing as every other Apna Bazar sells non veg products, but I didn't wanna confront her and I figured its best to just pay and leave. The only time I can see myself shopping here, at this point, is only if Parivaar is out of stock on something I need.
