Love Bloomingdales as they carry the most up to date clothes while being classy. I frequent it online and in nyc. That being said this is by far the worst Bloomingdales customer service l've ever had because of one particular woman. She has brownish hair, short, looks in her 60'st, dour annoyed look on her face. Works on the women's clothing floor. Last time I went, she was annoyed that I wanted to try on clothes. Really, so I'm supposed to know if a piece of clothing fits me just from the hanger?! This time I came in to return a dress that was too small. I'm waiting at the cashier and same woman says "I don't work here" and walks away. I say "Excuse me?" She says "I don't work at this register but I'll try to find someone." She changes her mind and walks back and asks if I have my receipt. I say "yep it's on my phone but it's loading" (no reception at this Bloomingdales). She makes an annoyed noise "pffft" and walks away and comes back. Then she proceeds to scan the tag of the dress and says I'll receive my return in form of original payment - so she didn't even need the receipt --. Fine. After the return, I walk to the dress section to look at and pass by her again and she says very loudly "Ay yay yay". Bloomingdales, this woman clearly does not enjoy her job and is desperately begging to be let go. She doesn't care if customers come back. I would track her overall sales and sales from repeat customers - guaranteed it's low. Do her a favor and let her go to enjoy blissfully peaceful life away from customers. If you're wondering why there is less foot traffic at this location compared to Macy's and Nordstrom in this mall, I can guarantee you she is one of the reasons why. Prefer purchasing at the Bloomies at Mosaic. The sales associates are attentive and I'll make my purchases...
Read moreI was shopping at Bloomingdale's with my personal makeup specialist, Johnny, whom we greatly appreciate, when I found myself exploring the Dior makeup section. I purchased several Dior products and inquired about scheduling a makeup session focused on techniques for Asian women. Unfortunately, Johnny was leaving for vacation the next day, so he referred me to Deidre for assistance. She arranged an appointment for my daughter and me on a Saturday. A few days later, I received a text confirming our appointment, to which I responded affirmatively, expressing our excitement. I reconfirmed that the appointment was for a makeup tutorial. However, Deidre informed me that we were only scheduled for facials. I expressed my confusion, noting that both my husband and Johnny had witnessed my initial request for a makeup session. She then stated that a purchase of $150 worth of products was necessary to qualify for the tutorial. Although this condition had not been mentioned previously, I indicated that it would not be an issue. However, she replied that the appointment was strictly for facials. This was quite disappointing, as my daughter and I had been looking forward to our time together. Deidre appeared rather indifferent and unapproachable, which is not how a loyal client, who spends thousands on La Prairie and other high-end products, should be treated. I am uncertain if Bloomingdale's is aware, but there are numerous alternatives, such as Sephora and Neiman Marcus, that would value my business and treat me with respect. I find her behavior unacceptable and potentially discriminatory, as it seemed she may have assumed we could not afford...
Read moreSo this review is about Bloomingdales but more specifically, All Saints, which is a clothing brand department within Bloomingdales. Ive been looking for a leather jacket for about 6 months now. I travel a lot and i get the opportunity to interact with hundreds of individuals along the way. I can say with confidence that this has been the best experience i've ever had shopping.
Yannie had asked me to let her know if i had any questions about anything to feel free to ask her anything. Well, i definitely had my fair share of questions. She was able to help me narrow down the actual size i needed for a leather jacket (I originally thought i was an XL but I dropped to an L.) There were about 3 or 4 different styles of jackets that i had available to choose from and I honestly tried them all on in both an XL & L and finally came to a consensus!
I also had quite a few questions about proper care of the leather jacket as well as finding out that they will take care of any kind of seam damage or anything that happens along the way with the jacket for the lifetime of the jacket! Yannie was definitely a great woman to work with. I told her that i was going to look around the store and see what promotions were going on at the moment and i would come back around once i was done. She took it in stride and said that if there was anything i needed help with in another department that she would gladly get someone to further assist me.
Seriously, this was THE best shopping experience of my life. If you ever need any help finding a leather jacket, ask for Yannie and you'll definitely be more than...
