EGG-CELLENT Tysons Corner — Attraction in Tysons

I am a Popmart purist because there are way too many scammers out there but it was really hard to pass up the Stitch Hacipupu I discovered in the store earlier this evening. I knew they were difficult to find-even from resellers-and the price of $130 wasn’t too bad.

When I was checking out I asked if I could return it if it doesn’t authenticate and was told no, which I wasn’t too happy about. I bought it anyway because fake or not my daughter LOVES Stitch, and I’m so happy I took the risk!! They gave me the shrink wrapped box and when I scanned it after purchase, it was authentic! My daughter took it out of the box the second we got home and he’s perfect 😍. Everything he’s supposed to come with was in the box and he’s in perfect condition. I could not be happier!

A note about the prices: there is obviously an upcharge over retail for the items, which is a small price to pay to ensure that they are authentic. I’ve gone to mall stores in other states and they unapologetically charge $100 for a Lububu regardless of series. I won’t buy over retail something I can get relatively easily on my own and I have good luck with Labubus, but I was impressed that they were charging 20-40 dollars less for Labubus than I’ve seen charged in other places.

I have enjoyed coming here the past couple times, but the things they sell here seem to be consistently OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive. I usually like to look at the anime figurines, blind boxes, and Pokemon cards, but they are so highly priced that the "sales" I sometimes hear about just aren't enough for me to want to even consider buying anything. I feel like the products are x2 the price and better bought from a different local anime/collectible/TCG store, Amazon, or even TCGplayer online for Pokemon cards in particular.

I rate 1 star since prices are really important to me, but for everything else (like atmosphere, service, and variety), that is pretty good. The store is clean, the employees are kind, and there is a good variety of products. Unfortunately, I think it's only worth window shopping and...

I originally came to the mall looking for labubus because I heard they had a Popmart machine, and to my disappointment come to find out that the machine was completely empty.. Then I stumbled upon this cute store and they have everything from anime action figures to blind boxes, and cute plushies!! They do sell labubus here which are a little more then market value, but I’ve been searching high and low for these things so I caved in and I don’t regret buying them! They are 100% authentic too I checked the QR code on the Popmart website. The lady at check out was super nice also she gave me a cute little cinnamon roll purse for free which was so nice. I definitely will be coming back to this store...
