If I could give this place 0 stars I would. My family (myself, my two older parents, spouse and three kids) and I received the absolute worst service here. The young woman working the counter (brunette) repeatedly asked my wife, who is Latina, if “that was it” after she was sharing her order. (My wife being Latina is relevant as I am white, along with my parents, witnessing and experiencing this.) The entire time she was in a sour attitude and made us feel put out. We ate out on the patio and when she brought our food, she literally threw it on the table and walked away. There were 5 sandwiches and chip bags just flung at our kids. She said nothing and quickly walked away. 10 minutes later, she brought another table’s food out (they were white), was delightfully pleasant and said with a smile “enjoy your meal!” And walked away. After we finished eating the worst sandwiches ever created, I went inside to share my experience with the woman, to which she denied everything. She said she “had a lot going on” and that she did not throw the food at us, nor did she make us feel put out. I then asked for her manager’s name and phone number. I left the dining area inside and tried to go back in to retrieve the manager’s name, but the woman had locked us out and started playing music very loudly, as if we posed as a threat to her and didn’t want us to return. This was all at 2 pm, 3 hours before their posted hours said they were supposed to close. I went around to the drive thru window and she opened it, gave me the manager’s name again and slammed the window shut. I tried calling, but the mailbox was conveniently full.
Do not eat here. Do not eat here if you are brown. Do not eat here if you love someone who is brown. Do not eat here if you value being treated like a human. Do not eat here even if you want a...

She did an excellent job describing the process, walked us through an explanation of every step before we moved on to it and did an overall wonderful job of teaching without getting too technical. She takes safety seriously but yet is able to guide you through every step with a dash of humor and a large dollop of wit.
We had a fantastic time and I would highly recommend the experience to anyone looking to stretch their creativity. I appreciate local artists such as Toni for turning their vision into an opportunity the public can enjoy while she pursues a fine craft.
Be sure to support your local businesses when they are as wonderful as this!
Original review: Great coffee stop melded with a unique artistic experience - sip coffee or a beer and watch glassblowers work...
Read moreLove this place. It's in an old porcelain-enameled Sinclair gas station, and the old midcentury industrial vibe is still pretty obvious. The deli is a good place to grab a morning coffee, and while the sandwiches are simple, they're tasty. (Go with the sparkplug. You won't be sorry.) It's one of the few places in Deadwood you can grab something light like this to go, making it perfect if you want to take your food along on a hike and picnic out in the forest. When the weather is nice, the garage doors come up and the outdoor patio is an awesome place to drink a beer and people watch. There's no shade, so it gets direct sunlight by early afternoon, making it pretty toasty on a hot day - make sure you get a table with an umbrella if you're careful about sun exposure. The glass blowing inside is the most unique part of the place: you can take a class and dive in yourself, but I prefer to just watch and look at the art pieces on display. It can get super toasty inside when the ovens are fired up, which makes this place really cozy when it's...
