Painter's Pond Park — Attraction in DeLand

this is a very good reflection of the town that I love to live in and that's DeLand Florida. They have redone this park and given permission to the local artists attending Stetson University which this borders on the property of period. You have Firehouse Subs also on the border so I like to grab a sandwich and a soda and go sit on one of the benches in the park occasionally feeding the ducks in the duck pond. The stetson students who live in the apartments are very rude. There is trash and broken glass that gets thrown from the balconies that end up in the pond. Also another area the homeless frequent.
