Shoppes at Paradise Isle — Attraction in Destin

Popped in for a souvenir. I couldn't tell who was working there so had to wait until i was noticed. Then I added a deck of cards to my pile because we always buy cards from our vacation areas. The first pack I grabbed was my favorite but they only had one box and that box was opened so I have no idea if all the cards are in there?? I'm not buying THAT pack. So i keep looking thru. The lady working there sees me looking and shuffling around to get a different pack of cards then proceeds to tell me not to open the card boxes. Huh?? Me? I said that I was looking for another deck with the same art but there wasn't one. She says you can't open the boxes because then no one buys them. I said yeah I know, I'm not buying this pack that is open (I handed it to her) because it's opened already. She says yeah, you can't open them, im not saying you did but you can't. I said yeah, I didn't and i wouldn't do that to you. Im a small business owner too. I don't think she believed me but whatever. Geeze, all I wanted was a deck of fun cards and I got treated like I'm pilfering thru everything and destroying their inventory. Won't go back. But they do have a nice selection of...

There are lots of great stores at Paradise Isle. I enjoy stopping in the pet store to see the new fish they have in stock. I also love to go in the other shops to see what's new. Rooms To Go is one of our favorite stops as well. We usually stop in when were in between dinner and a movie. It's just across the street from Pier Park and is very convenient.
