Feels like one of those backwoods pawnshops you see on tv or something and it pretty much is. On the day I went in here the place stunk like vinegar, pickle juice and buffalo wing sauce not sure what that was about but it didn't make me linger in there long. Inventory is mostly junk and clutter. Can't say much about pawning items here the place never gave me a vibe like this is a place you'd wanna do that in but I will say I didn't care much for the attitude of the guy working the counter. Funny enough I've always used the gas station next to this place for years but only went in here on one occasion. It always looked like a junky little place and it is. Out of any pawnshops I've visited or dealt with I'd say this place has the highest volume of bums. Some even tried to sell me weed after they walked over to pester people pumping gas on one occasion. I guess what I'm trying to say is that this place is an eyesore to look at. Pawnshops are outdated with ebay, craiglists and amazon to get rid of your stuff. These places just attract the community vermin and this place seems to do...
Read moreDo not pawn your items here!!!! The heavy set (I wouldn't even say gentleman) was Extremely unprofessional when I went to pay on my items. It was my birthday and I wanted to get out my earrings and unbeknownst to me I had an overdue ring in there as well. It was almost the close of business and I had already walked over to the ATM to have enough money to get my earrings out so I did not have enough to get out my ring also. Since I had been patronizing this pawn shop for over a year. I politely asked if I could return to pay on my ring the following day. The heavyset old guy snapped and told me if I couldn't get both then I couldn't get either and told me if I didn't like that then he would scrap my overdue ring. I tried to reason with him. He said he didn't care it was my birthday it was a business. So I left without my jewelry and returned the next day and got all my jewelry out of his shop. He will never get another cent out of me!!! He obviously doesn't care if your a return customer or not. I go where I'm appreciated at...
Read moreSo, as a surprise, I was going to pawn some of my wife's old jewelry so we could take a trip down to Florida. Pawned it and came home to tell me wife the exciting news. She was heartbroken. What I didn't realize was that a lot of that jewelry was from her great grandmother, so it held a lot of sentimental value. So I messed up big time!! Go back to the shop within the same hour I sold it to get my items back. I explain the situation to the guy and he tells me he scrapped it already. Long story short, I talk to a friend of mine within the Delaware State Police. He explains pawn shops have to hold the items for 18 days. I call the store back and they accuse me of pawning stolen items!! Lol they agree to sell it back to me for $200 more than what they gave me!!! I will never go back there and will make sure to warn...
