Fabio's Frame Shop — Attraction in Federal Way

The work done at this frame shop is absolutely wonderful!

From the first moment you step in, there is a great atmosphere with music and lighting. You are greeted and helped straight away with discussing what you want to do with your framing.

The variety of frame, matting and glass options is superb.

I originally went in for a simple black frame and white matting, which they were happy to provide. Then they pointed out a much better combination with double matting and a similar frame in a deep rich brown that would better compliment the art piece itself without drawing attention away from it.

The results were beautiful! I had eye-catching framing and matting that complimented the art and made it pop.

I was able to pay for half of the framing job upfront and the second half upon completion, which was extremely fast. They even provided complimentary hook & nails to mount my frame at home.

I will be going back to frame future projects and definitely recommend...

I have art framed a handful of times per year, and I had some issues with other framers (a few went out of business, and one tore a piece of original art). So I was looking for another framer and found Fabio’s by reading reviews of local shops.

It’s really important to me that a framer has an eye for what will look good with a piece and that the finished work elevates the art. That’s exactly what Fabio and Olga do with each piece I bring them. The shop is a little out of the way for me, but I make the journey because I’m confident I will be happy with the work they do. To those who may feel inclined to save some money and go with a generic frame, I urge you to give Fabio a chance. While the cost may be more than your were planning, an artful job of framing can completely transform a piece. In our case, we found some bargain Japanese prints in a second hand store which were in great condition. With Fabio's help we chose mat, frame and glass materials that all seemed to work well with the individual prints.
