I'm a Rouge member and extremely excited to be in-store because of the ongoing sale. The store is absolutely busy. I'm in the store for the second time, sales associates moving left and right. I take my friend with me and show her around. I happened to see a little tester jar and pour a foundation sample for my friend since she didn't want to bother the employees. Low and behold, to my luck, I happened to ask the wrong beauty expert, Sam (Middle Eastern, older female). I asked her if she had a sticker and a pen so she could label the name of the foundation so that we could come back and purchase it if we happened to love the sample. Let me tell you, she looked me up and down, confused, wondering if I was a vendor. She asked me if I worked for a brand, and I told her no, "I found the sample jar on top of the table and proceeded to make it for myself." She got so offended, told me not to do that, and to ask an employee next time, in a very demeaning way. It might not sound bad, but we felt very uncomfortable and embarrassed. I've been there, done that; I don't need to be scolded by you. There are ways you can speak to people. We still kept shopping but felt very out of place. I know the limit of samples per customer is three. I myself wanted to try out the merit primer, so I asked her once more. She looked at me with this face, almost as if challenging me. It's your job to service the client, dude! I'm guessing she was upset because she came back and held the sample before letting another scold out "you only have one more sample left." It gave me the sample without the bag! I told her, "The other sample was for my friend, and also, where is the bag with the product description?" If you want me to ask you for a sample, do it right, or don't do it at all! It's not that serious. I just dropped $800 before the discount! I still have more stuff I want to purchase. I'm sharing my Rouge code and influencing my coworkers to buy. Like, don't do that. I could easily wait two more weeks and buy all these products on their own website with their 20, 30, 40, or 50 percent off Black Friday sales. Other than that, I love Sephora. Everybody is so helpful, the atmosphere is popping, all the managers are sweet and it's your one-stop shop for everything beauty....
Read moreThis is probably one of the biggest stores I've been in and they have great selection of brands but it definitely had the worst service of any store I've in. Walking in there seemed to be a ton of workers around but they seemed to be busy not making eye contact or talking to each other so I already wasn't very optimistic. I went to the Fenty section since I wanted to get color matched for foundation. There was one lady there helping another customer so I was going just browsing around but it was taking awhile so I decided to try to flag someone else down. Keep in mind there are a TON of people who work here literally just standing around (or talking to each other in little cliques). Of course, no one is even asking if I need help even though I'm looking around trying to make eye contact. So I asked one lady who was dressed in a button down shirt (she was dressed differently from the other people) for help and she said (not in a very friendly or helpful way) that the ONE lady who was helping the other customers is assigned to this "area" and I would have to wait for her...HUH? So there's 20 other people who are free and I have to wait for the one person that's busy?? I've never been to any Sephora where employees are assigned to one section. They are always generally really helpful and will help you find, get a sample, or swatch whatever you need. How can there be only one person that knows how to swatch Fenty? And if you knew I needed helpful, good customer service would be to get someone who can swatch Fenty to help me out. Not that they care, but I had to leave after that and will never return to...

Of course since they are always rearranging their items as I walk in the store and I am greeted I always ask for assistance in locating what I am looking for. On May 8 2024 I was greeted didnt get the ladies name but she was very polite and requested for someone to assist me. However, when I go to where the lady directed me to I am unable to find the item or the lady that was suppose to assist me Abby. Then I am looking for someone to help me and Abbie does not even tried to ask me anything but haller it in front of you and laughs. I approach her and ask excuse me what is your name. She says Abby. I sair Abby you have a terrible customer skills and she laughs. I go back and ask the lady in the front who was suppose to help me and she says Abby and I explained to her what happen and she said o well she might have been busy with a client which that was a lie because she was mot doing anything when I approached her and even then why didnt she send someone else to help me....I hope Abby is trained to be more professional because she is currently very unprofessional and I would say ghetto. Who are these people parents? Do they teach them any basic manners? It all starts their. Sephora I know you can do better and filter or train these individuals who were not taught basic manners...
