I am leaving a poor review mostly because I suspect theft from staff. I had left a pair of brand new boots (only worn once) in my hotel room upon my departure. I realized this the next day. I called the hotel less than 24 hours after I checked out. I was told the room was cleaned and the housekeeper who had cleaned the room did not find any belongings left behind. I was also told there were no other occupants in that room after I had left.
I spoke to the manager who checked the room himself per my request. I had asked a friend in the area to go to the hotel and try to rectify the issue. My friend spoke to the housekeeper and said she looked very anxious and fidgety, but denied seeing any belongings. My friend asked if the manager could look at the cameras (which he agreed to) and was told by an employee that I'd receive follow up in up to three days. After four days and no follow up, I called only to be told it hadn't been done yet. I understand there are higher priority tasks than my request, but it's just poor customer service to not address a complaint in a time frame that you set. I received a call later that night from the manager and was basically told he could not tell if anything was brought out of the room because of poor camera quality and camera location. He was also oddly defensive of the housekeeper even though I never suggested any repercussions against her, only that I had suspicions she had taken my belongings.
We stayed in this hotel a total of two nights. The pictures posted are a bit deceiving. The walls and paint in the bathroom were definitely peeling and damaged, especially around the shower. I can't speak for the amenities because I did not use them. I have no issues with the front desk staff, but my only interactions with them were to check in and check out. The cable also kept going in and out while trying to watch TV.
REPLY TO OWNER: I tried calling the hotel number you provided shortly after you responded and you were not there. I really don't see the point in going out of my way to call you to discuss this further because you made it clear there was nothing more that could be done. There's even an Indiana state law regarding left belongings that states hotels can be held responsible for up to $100 worth of items. This was not something you even mentioned to me. Read moreIf I could give a ZERO, I would. I am so upset because I was charged THREE times for my stay last night and the lady at the desk doesn't seem to care. She said that whoever worked last night charged my room for an extra night instead of charging me separately for vending. She said this caused another charge for the room which was just over $136. This same lady charged us another $136 this morning. That 136 and some change x 3!!!! For a one night stay!!!! She refused to call the manager stating that there's no way to get ahold of the him today. I demanded that the manager be contacted today because almost $400 has come out of my bank account so she said he was in a meeting. She then said to call back in a couple of hours and he might be available then. She hung up on me and every time I call she either puts me on hold or hangs up on me. My husband tried to call and she hung up on him, too. I should also mention that this lady told me to call my bank tomorrow and get this taken care of. I am trying to reach their corporate office. I will never stay at this hotel again unless im compensated and refunded. The BBB will be contacted along with the FTC and the attorney General if this doesn't get resolved. I have contacted them all before and they will address any issues you have. It may sound silly and it seemed that the lady I spoke with thought I was overreacting but times are hard for a lot of people and if this has happened to me then I can almost guarantee it's happened to other people. I am staying at the hospital near this hotel with my daughter who is pregnant with triplets and my husband and I got a room since it's nearby and I needed a night in a real bed. I cannot describe the amount of pain I've been having in my neck and shoulders and the fear and stress I'm having for my daughter and grandbabies. Read moreThe hotel and the rooms are nice, we stayed in a 2 queen bed room. It was a very interesting experience I never leave reviews rarely but I just had to with this experience. I live in indy so was semi familiar with the area and it being right off 65 and around plenty of shopping stores and food it's a great location but what absolutely sucks about the location is a bar sits right beside it, no big deal. They have signs posted everywhere parking is for hotel customers only but I tell you come 10pm it got interesting the bar parking lot the hotels and Texas roadhouse and the road all became packed people everywhere...no big deal at 1st...but the biggest thing was we witnessed at least 2 drunk woman get dragged into situations and cars that they definitely did not want to be in but was dragged into the car and gone..and mind you there a cop that was sitting in the bar parking lot. I got video of 1 girl the guy spent probably 5 Mins getting her in his car..I called non emergency and reported to management and sent them the video..we ended up seeing the other girl we saw 1st that left with another guy that didn't wanna back later so hopefully she got away safely..but it was alot..and then we witnessed 2 people peeing in the hotel parking lot with not a care in the world like they were invisible..so the bar really runs your relaxing away time way down....I couldn't stop worrying about those females and how many people we seen leave absolutely wasted and driving it was terrifying.... But on the room and actual hotel everything looked good and fine...I did find a dirty sock on the floor at the corner of like the bed and the chair and window was really dirty but nothing to serious that would steer me away from returning.
