I have mixed feelings on this experience. They are all different activities at different locations with different offices so I’m not sure why they are lumped together to be purchased as a package deal. The guy at the tubing counter was very unhelpful and vague, so much so that someone in line had to actually tell us where to go to find the tubing area and what to do when we got there, it was a walk down and across the lot to a tube area. Unfortunately the heavy snow storm the night before had left snow on the tubing slide so it was extremely slow and we didn’t even make it all the way down, we had to walk with the tube to the bottom. It really was not worth all the trouble of trying to find it once we actually did the tube. Although the guys at the ski re tal shop did tell us that on a normal day it’s so much fun, it’s fast and fun and people sometimes fly off the slide it’s so fast, we didn’t get that experience.
The cowboy coaster was a lot more exciting, you sit strapped into a single car with no doors and it takes you up automatically but at the top it becomes manual and you control going down. It’s fast!! Even riding the brakes I was screaming. I recommend this one. We never got on the gondola, I decided to just go back to...
Read moreRead moreIt's probably the most fun public tubing hill we've been to! There are 3 hills. They are long, fast, and stop you safely at the end. The Magic carpet that takes you to the top is slow, but fine and young kids can do it easily. Some of the staff were very friendly, others just seemed to ignore us. They allow you to link tubes and go down 2 or 3 at the time. We were there at 5 pm, and it was moderately busy, but when they closed the middle lane because people were going too fast, the line got really long. It's $35 an hour, and we went down less than 10 times due to the line. Dress very warm. Even though you're tubing, you're not walking much, so you get cold quickly. Kids must be 42" to tube. It's good for adventurous kids who are typically 5 or older. Our 3 year old nephew went, and he was crying and scared the whole time, even though he was tall...
From their website: It is your responsibility to control your speed, avoid collisions, and keep yourself safe while tubing. Before you arrive, complete your online Liability Waiver here. Ok....so I sign a wavier saying they are not liable for injuries. It says I am responsible for my speed and keeping myself safe. Yet when you are tubing there they close lanes saying it's too fast. Then make you go on another lane that no one has used because it's "slower". My reason in going is to have fun. Not slide down a hill like a slug. If I'm responsible for my speed, safety and I'm signing a waiver per their website..... then I should be able to go down any lane I please. Edit: By their response, they obviously have reading comprehension problems with their own...
