This location is located directly at the bottom of Snow King mountain about 3/4 of a mile out of Broadway. It's new to me and looks fairly new in general. Building looks nice in and out but is confusing on its layout. To get to the main dining level you have to find the entrance then walk up a few flights of stairs or the elevator. Dining floor has a sit down long open bar and nicely laid out dining with a kick back feel. Service was not fast nor slow, could have been quicker for it being slow. Our server was nice, knowledgeable and attentive. Was a little frustrated when I had first called and asked if they had a happy hour and their brewed beer choices. The lady that picked up dod not know when happy hour was, what the deals were or specifics on them. The menu is smaller but has unique options. Prices are on the higher side for a standard brewery/grill. Was disappointed in the in house beer options. The variety was bland with one or two unique options. We got a peach wheat ale that was actually very good and worth the $6. Now to the best part, the food! With the prices and just stopping by, we almost did not eat. We decided on two app choicesn the wings and sweet potato fries. AMAZING! Every but of the food and sauces were amazing. Garlic aole was incredible, ranch amazing, blue cheese awesome, buffalo sauce is not like the others. More flavorn thicker and elegant. The wings were uniquely season and tasted great. The food was so good we wanted to try more. All in all, would definitely go back and if you dont mind spending more than your standard restaurant prices around town, definitely...
Read moreNot Senior patron friendly. My husband and I went in for drinks and dinner on a Friday in September. The restaurant was not busy. The rude hostess said she could not seat 2 people outside and took us to the bar on the high tables. I asked if we could sit at one of the open 4 top tables inside as I have trouble sitting at the high tables. The rude hostess said they save those for four people. We sat at the high bar table and ordered dinner and drinks. The waitress was friendly and the bartender seemed very friendly and we watched as the restaurant was not busy and the two indoor 4 tops and outdoor 4 top were never sat. The entire time we were there these tables that the rude hostess said she couldn’t seat us at remained empty. I saw her seat 2 other older couples at the high 2 tops and could see they struggled to get on the high stools. Your waitress and bartender are polite and professional but that hostess is your weak link. We had a bad experience with her before we sat down. I brought it to her attention when we left that all the low 4 top tables she said she couldn’t or wouldn’t seat us at remained empty the entire time we were there. I told her I was going to mention her in my review and she said “Go ahead” in her snippy disrespectful manner. We left and went to Snakeriver brewery which was a really fun vibe where young and old old were treated equally. Will never recommend The Stillwest Brewery to anyone. Too bad because our waitress was cool but no one deserves...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Stillwest, and I must say, my experience was absolutely incredible. What truly made this visit exceptional was the outstanding service provided by Roney, the bartender. From the moment I walked through the door, Roney's warm and inviting demeanor set the tone for a truly memorable evening.
His genuine friendliness created an immediate connection, making me feel right at home. His enthusiasm was contagious, and it was evident that he genuinely enjoyed his role in ensuring guests have a remarkable experience. Throughout the evening, Roney effortlessly balanced professionalism with a vibrant sense of fun, adding an extra layer of excitement to the entire dining affair. He even switched the music to the groups liking and put on some football for us to watch.
Not only did Roney excel in his people skills, but he also possessed an impressive wealth of knowledge about the restaurant and the city of Jackson.
I wholeheartedly recommend Stillwest to anyone seeking a dining experience that goes beyond the exceptional. The exceptional service truly set this establishment apart. Whether you're a visitor to Jackson or a local looking for a remarkable evening, be sure to seek out Roney. His warm personality, extensive knowledge, and dedication to exceptional service are the key ingredients that make it an unforgettable...
