We stopped in for a drink before our dinner reservation elsewhere. The drinks were great as was the staff so we decided to make reservations and go back the next evening for dinner. Both nights we visited, we enjoyed our time there. The bar and table seating are currently socially distanced with markings telling guests were they cannot sit.
Reservations: Dinner reservations are recommended. We made reservations there, although you can make them online as well. A credit card is required, so I am assuming you will be charged if you cancel or are a no-show.
Dinner: For dinner we had the Beets & Greens, which my wife thoroughly enjoyed, the Fried Chicken (which is currently being tweaked so we won't mention it much. All I'll say is we sent it back to the kitchen and filled out the comment card for the dish), the Bison, and a dessert.
The Bison was great! The best meal I had during our stay in Jackson. The meat was flavorful and tender, the sauce, potatoes and greens were an excellent compliment to the Bison. I recommend having it medium rare.
Dessert: For dessert, my wife ordered the chocolate cake with ice cream. I didn't have any, but she ate it all so it was definitely good.
Drinks: I had the spicy cocktail (I currently can't remember the name, but it was good). The waitress said they spice up the tequila in house by, if I remember correctly, infusing a bottle with about 12 Jalapeños. It was delicious, the best cocktail during this trip. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes a spicy drink. My wife had the mule and substituted the huckleberry vodka. She enjoyed it the first night, but hardly touched it...

The main highlights for us were the Wagyu Beef Tartare, Caesar Salad, and Butterscotch Cheesecake. the Wagyu Beef Tartare, what can I say. I think for me this was the perfect tartare. With most tartare, restaurants tend to either aggressively season it to mask the rawness of the beef and/or aggressively dress it to again mask or overpower the flavors. Here, they did it just perfectly in a way that allows you to actually taste the beef but also confident enough to add its own character to the dish AND highlight the beef flavors. The best tartare I’ve ever had.
Caesar salad: I’m sure most ppl like me were thinking “oh great another drab salad” when I saw this. But as an addict of Caesar salad and the fact that this had anchovies, I had to try it. This was anything but drab. It’s perfectly smart the way they incorporated crispy fish skins to add to the “croutons” and the ability to balance the dressing with the rest of the dish. It’s the smartest Caesar salad I’ve had and definitely the tastiest.
Butterscotch cheesecake with coffee glaze: I…i was left speechless and weak. I cannot help go on and on about this cheesecake. Like again, it’s perfectly balanced and so light to eat. The slight bitterness from the coffee complemented the sweetness of the butterscotch in such a delicate way that made you want to eat the entire batch. It’s 100% worth the calories. Bravo to the chef who made it because this was so excellent.
Dear Gather, thank you for an...
Read moreUpdate: The manager of the restaurant called us and was very sorry for our experience. He offered for us to come back and get dinner on the restaurant. We already had plans but we came back for dessert and drinks. They made sure we had wonderful service and I really appreciated them reaching out to make our trip to Jackson hole special.
The food was delicious! The cocktails were great. BUT my partner made a reservation for my birthday about a month in advance. We arrived 5 minutes before our reservation for 7 on a Friday night and we were told that they were running late without a good estimate when we would be seated. There isn’t really anywhere to wait and the bar was filled so we asked if they could call us when the table was ready. They said of course and we roamed around downtown along the icy sidewalks for a bit then went to get a drink. We were called 25 minutes later and told the table was ready. We were seated at a high top next to the bar in an actual hallway right next to the door. I could see the other tables were having a lovely time the cushy booths. So we felt a bit of fomo. The wait staff was mostly for the bar. They did try to stop by as frequently as they could but it could have been a bit better. The food was good, we got the pork shank and the corn curry. For a birthday dinner the ambiance could have been nicer and the service a bit better. But eh.. also no parking so walk if you are...
