The staff and stylists are so friendly and welcoming, you can't help but feel you belong there. When I walked in for my first colour and trim appointment with Dani, the atmosphere felt light, uplifting, and fresh, with a lovely refreshing positive vibe. I have been searching for a new stylist here in KC for a bit, for a much needed bold, chunky blonde highlight colour and trim for my long wavy hair. Having had some hair trauma living in San Diego, I was hopeful about my colour appointment, however still a bit nervous. My experience at Hair has been awesome. Once inside i was greeted with friendly smiles and super welcoming words. And I felt at ease.

HAIR definitely has a rare 'je ne sais quois' I've never experienced at any other salon. I quickly knew I was at the "right" place for me. Unlike other salons, HAIR is a judgement-free, creative and beautiful collective atmosphere. It is the place for an uplifting, refreshing, self-care experience we want, that is so hard to find. I don't need to step foot in another salon. I finally found "my place" and my new hair chick. YAY!! HIGHLY APPRECIATED AND RECOMMENDED!

BEST STYLISTS AND BEST...

I made an appointment maybe 2 or 3 months in advance only to have been canceled on last minute. The reason being that my stylist had a family emergency related to Covid. That is completely understandable. I rescheduled a few months out again. Again, I was very empathetic and sorry for her circumstances. By the time my appointment finally came around, my family and I experienced exact same thing. A death in the family due to covid the day of my appointment. I missed it and they charged me $65. I asked if they’d consider a refund because of the history and similar experience having been cancelled on (and ignored to reschedule my appointments via their text service). They never answered my request. These are tough times for everyone, I get that. But I was hoping for compassion and understanding to be reciprocated. Super disappointed in this business. This told me enough about them to never schedule again. A few family members and friends that are current clients will also stop going there too. Word of mouth is a powerful...
