Miami Beach Parking Lot — Attraction in Miami Beach

The city of Miami Beach has rented away half of this lot to people who overprice and charge $30 usd for a parking spot in a city where it already is challenging to find a parking spot and to top it off most of the street parking has been given away to “valet”. We residents pay so many taxes to live here and can’t even have decent parking options. Also: one of the ladies charging the $30 usd at the lot was very rude and unpleasant. I was talking with my boyfriend while getting out of our car telling him that “they (the city) had taken half the lot for this” and the lady interrupted our conversation saying rudely “we haven’t taken anything, this is a business contract” and I answered “AND I WAS NOT TALKING TO YOU” All this...

My entire positive review is because you can park here for free before 9 AM every day of the week, apparently. 🌅

Given how expensive it is to park literally anywhere else that I have found, this is my new favorite place on the beach. Miami Beach should be happy, because this free parking is garnering them a lot of retail business from me before I head back over the bridge. 🛍️ 🛒

Seriously though, this is about as close as free parking gets to South Beach and I’m here...

It is a luxury to have your personal vehicle with you down here. If driving your personal vehicle is necessary for coolers, beach necessities, get here early! Before 9:30 am or you will have to swarm around waiting for people to move out of the spaces. $20 a day for non-resident (we're from SC) parking no matter what from the card terminal after you get out your vehicle.
