THIS IS A GEM. YOU CANNOT MISS THIS IF YOU ARE VISITING. This was an incredible experience for many reasons. For one, the layout of the museum fully encapsulates the literal centuries of history wrapped around this location, and really gives a glimpse of the history of Mobile, Alabama in a matter of minutes. Second, the furniture and pieces are all in INCREDIBLE conditions. Hats off to the dames for a damn good tour. I have so much respect for an organization that cares about preserving history in the way in which they do. Finally, the tour was informative and extremely methodical. You interacted with each passing century of history with confidence that your guide was giving you the best damned tour in the South. This is the BEST place to start a tour of Mobile's history. The guides also give great lunch...

Easily accessible from the Main Road, street parking and public lots are nearby. The Museum was super clean and well staffed by friendly employees. Restrooms were available and were clean.

If you like Museums and are a fan of History you will absolutely love this museum and you won't be disappointed.

Besides all the Historical Artifacts, which are excellent, it like a walk through time not only of Mobile, but Alabama and the United States.

Very educational and it pulls no punches with it exhibits. They did it the right way.

Plan to spend some time there to take it all in.

In the area don't pass it up.

The Fort is across the street and the Carnival Museum is a few blocks away and are also...

The Condé-Charlotte Museum in Mobile, Alabama, is a hidden gem! Kathy and Kim provided an exclusive and personalized tour, catering to just the two of us. Their passion and knowledge for the history and artifacts were evident as they shared detailed stories and allowed close-up views of the antiques. The mansion itself is a beautiful testament to the city's past. This intimate and informative experience left us with a deeper appreciation for the history of Mobile and the people who shaped it. Highly recommended for history enthusiasts and anyone seeking a unique...

The Condé-Charlotte Museum is a beautiful home and collection of period pieces. The host are some of the most gracious folks you will find anywhere and they give a great tour. This home was originally built as a jail and within the grounds of the old fort that had been demolished. Purchased by Mr. Kirkbride, the property was remodeled and repurposed as his home.
