I hired Port City Preps to cater my daughter's wedding this past Saturday. For a dad, making everything perfect for your daughter's wedding is as important as it gets. These folks nailed EVERY aspect of it. The food was beautifully displayed, the serving team was great, everything was delicious, and they paid attention to every detail. They made sure that those of us busy taking pictures and doing all of scheduled things like dances and cake cutting had plates made and set aside. They even helped us serve the cake and cupcakes which were provided my a separate baker. Then they helped us wrap and save the top layer of the cake for the bride and groom. Food portions are always perfect! The food is always fresh and flavorful! Ordering is so convenient, especially for a teacher. Coming home in the evenings, I have my plate full and do not have the time to make myself healthy meals for lunch. I always enjoy the times that I am able to order from Port City Preps because it is easy and the meals are spot on for what I need. During the pandemic when they started offering the take and bake family meals, these were also so wonderful! My family sometimes passes like ships in the night around dinner time so it was great to have something better than a bowl of cereal or a frozen pizza that we could all enjoy together without having to stay up til 8 or 9 to cook a meal. This place catered my wedding and let me tell you, I was more excited to eat at my wedding than anything! They let us come in and taste different things. They cooked us up something special since I don’t eat meat and it was the best thing I’ve ever had. They were very prepared with everything and even went to the venue the day before the wedding to get a feel of the kitchen. The set up was very classy and they kept everything stocked and nicely kept. Paper plates, cutlery, and napkins were provided as well. They were very attentive and picked up plates during the reception. We didn’t even have to lift a finger. When everything was finished they cleaned up and packed up and left everything spotless like they weren’t even there. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a caterer...
