I came to this playground due to a post I saw on social media. Now the playground is named after the sculptor, Tom Otterness (which I’m sure some of you art connoisseurs knew already).
What I expected to be a decently sized playground ended up being a small play space. I assumed it’s due to being placed right in between an apartment complex and business strip.
I was concerned about my kids not being able to play on the slides because of the sun making the metal too hot, but there’s a few tress that actually keep the area well shaded.
There is a dog area by the left hand area and it can be a bit smelly.
There’s a smaller play area for toddlers so it’s nice that the smaller babies weren’t forgotten about.
All in all I’m glad my kids still had a great time but I would say this space is more convenient for people who live in the area and if you happen to be...
Read moreDog poop is all over this playground. It is seriously disgusting and disturbing to think kids are playing around in it. The people that live in the nearby Silver Towers and River Place buildings obviously don't pick up after their dogs. I am not talking about one or two poops. There are dozens of poops right on the playground area, and I imagine dog pee too. Absolutely disgusting. Silverstein should clean this up. Read moreBe careful where the table and chairs on the side of the building because so just witnessed someone is throwing some lighted cigarettes from above and you can see multiple on the floor.
This is so dangerous especially if kids are playing without shoes on and light up cigarettes falling from above extremely dangerous Smh. I heard from the neighbors that they already made a complain about it but still no action is being done. I guess until some bad incidents happen their not gonna take any actions...
