This was my third shopping tour with Karen and I have absolutely LOVED this experience every time (2017, 2019, 2024). Karen is a treasure trove of very high-quality designers that fit my style, wardrobe needs across a variety of budgets. Everything is customized (based intake questions to get to know what you’re looking for) and Karen chooses designers from there. At each stop in the day, items are pulled ahead of time and waiting when you arrive, based on your size and preferences. We’ve done shoes, jewelry, purses, jackets, pants, dresses, skirts, and a wide range of tops. What I love (and keeps me coming back) is the item quality, uniqueness, and the fact that almost every time I wear one of these items, I get endless compliments (even years later). The quality and design of things I’ve purchased with Karen have added long lasting, standout items that have elevated my wardrobe and become go to pieces for great looks. I’ve also found staple items with a fit and quality that are far above what I can find in local shops (Vancouver). As a a person who used to find putting a great outfit together challenging, and who often wasted money on items that only looked good for a couple wears, or on things I simply shouldn’t have bought based on fit or style, Karen has helped to transform my wardrobe into one I love that is also so eco friendly with the quality and durability of every item. We had a BLAST! I booked a walking tour for my wife during an anniversary trip to NYC. Karen Parker O'Brien quickly contacted me for more info about my wife's tastes, size, fashion preferences, etc. We sent pics and info to Karen. Karen was great to deal with leading up to our tour. We booked about 6 months out and I'm glad we did. So anyway we had a fantastic time on the tour, met with several designers and bought something from each designer, mainly jewelry and clothing. Bring your credit/debit cards because the designers will be selling everything at wholesale prices but don't take cash. Everything was planned out well for us. Karen had memorized my wife's sizes and tastes and perfectly customized our tour as far as designers that fit my wife's style, etc. The designers were all very gracious and fun to visit with. Karen was an amazing host and we truly felt like we were on a behind the scenes VIP tour of the NYC Garment District. I know a lot of women go on this tour, but from a man's perspective it was fun and very enjoyable just to hang out while my wife shopped at each designer.
