The Escape Game Brooklyn — Attraction in New York

Both of my kids LOVE escape rooms and knew they wanted to invite their friends to one for each of their birthdays, so that's exactly what we did. I booked both escape rooms via the website, which was quick and efficient. On Monday my older son celebrated his birthday and had the best time with his high school friends with Miranda being their group support. The kids said Miranda even leaned into the fact that they kept on lamenting "Oh God!" and started referring to her as a deity since she was all-knowing and able to provide hints with the escape room. They raved about how much fun they had in the Prison Break escape room and how supportive Miranda was throughout the whole game.

Later as the kids enjoyed delicious ice cream from Soft Swerve, I got a text refunding me 20%! Turns out, if you book more than 1 escape room within 24 hours, you get a discount. I didn't know that though, so I went to the front desk to make sure everything was OK for the next day's reservation. It was then that the manager, Alex with the green hair, said that she had heard my kids were celebrating their birthdays and asked what they're into. I told her that my kiddos are into Dungeons & Dragons - and lo and behold, the next day there were D&D themes to my younger son's birthday escape room! My younger son's birthday was even incorporated into the challenge!! There was a laminated D&D card and a ticket with a birthday greeting, that helped them solve the game!

Ryan was amazing from the very start as the group liaison (I don't remember the title of that role?! It was the same as Miranda's role from the day before), and was in character from the moment he stepped out to meet the kids. All the kids had a blast, the birthday celebrants got free T-shirts, and I cannot say enough amazing things about the staff and the games! 10/10, will definitely be back again! The Escape Game is hands down my favorite place to do escape rooms. My partner and I have done more than 60 now and actually got engaged at the Manhattan location.

Naturally, we had to come to the new Brooklyn location when it opened. We went for my partner’s birthday and they went all out decorating after I told them it was his birthday and how much we love The Escape Game. I won’t spoil anything, but we did Cosmic Crisis and Miranda, who works at The Escape Game, did such a fantastic job putting together birthday decorations and even worked details into part of the game pieces.

Ryan was our game master and he was so welcoming and fun. He did a great job of knowing when to give hints and when to wait for us to ask. And he never let on that they knew it was my partner’s birthday. It really made the surprises in the room that much more special.

The room itself was incredible. You really can’t go wrong with any of the rooms at The Escape Game. Whether it’s your first time doing a room or are a seasoned veteran, they’re a great time here. And they treat special events with such care. I cannot recommend The Escape...

L Fantastic Experience with Ryan at 'The Escape Room'!

I had an incredible time at 'The Escape Room', thanks to Ryan! He was not only super fun but also extremely helpful, providing us with plenty of hints whenever we needed them. One of the standout aspects of this place is their no-penalty policy for hints, which made our experience stress-free and enjoyable.

We chose to tackle the Depths escape room and found ourselves engrossed in the challenges right up to the very last step, although we unfortunately didn't manage to escape in time. Despite this, we were so impressed by the intricate puzzles and immersive experience that we can't wait to return and explore the other rooms on offer.

The attention to detail in the room design, the engaging and challenging puzzles, and the welcoming atmosphere created by Ryan and the staff made our visit truly memorable.
