I paid for a 60 min deep tissue hot stone massage last night. I was very disappointed to say the least. The first 20 mins was done with a towel barrier and very light pressure. Only at the end of the massage was I asked if I wanted the hot stones. The massage was not good in the sense that the masseuse seemed like she was going from my back, to my arms and then my legs and the muscles weren’t really ever focused on.
The worst part of the massage was at the end when I didn’t feel like she deserved a tip and she told me “You need to tip me now!” I was so surprised by the demand that I said “excuse me?” And she again told me that I needed to tip her. Read moreMy second visit. The first one was a chair massage 20 minutes. It was good. Thought I would go back 30 minutes for my back and neck. It was a different masseuse. I went in a room this time. She was talking to the other lady coworker sitting in the chair in the other room throughout the Massage. at one point she pinched my arm so bad I’m bruised from it. then I guess it was bio freeze. She covered my back with it! I don’t know why I didn’t ask for it. Smelled so bad ! . I never asked for it so so very disappointing. The whole massage was very unprofessional and extremely...
Read moreThe man getting a massage next to me was saying inappropriate things to his massage therapist. I had to stop my massage in the middle of it and leave because I was so uncomfortable. Though technically it wasn't the massage therapist's fault, someone at the establishment, or the therapist herself, should have stepped in and asked the man to leave. When I went to pay (I still paid for my massage and left a nice tip despite all this) my massage therapist pointed to the man’s room/cubicle and asked if that’s why I was leaving. When I said yes, she kept saying “Sorry,” over and over. I get a massage every year on vacation there, sometimes twice, as well as family members and friends, but we will no longer be visiting Hot Stone...
