I'll put in a 5 star review for our sale consultant Loretta at the Palmdale shop. She was absolutely fantastic, extremely professional and very friendly. She took the time with us to really advice us about various mattress types, bedsheets, etc. She even stayed with us after hours until the shop turned off the lights on us automatically to finalise the deal. All along she was friendly, funny, she wanted the sale, but she was not pushy and respected my desire to read reviews and make my research before buying. That's how a salesperson should be and that's why we came back to her during her working hours after my research has been done. Excellent experience, good deal, great pleasure, she's a real asset.
Now I have a complete different opinion from the delivery guys... probably 2 stars. I'm not sure they are sit n sleep employees, but the kid didn't speak english at all (although he was friendly) but the older guy was a total jerk. He didn't find our apartment right away, I had to walk to the main office to give him directions. Then afterward, he was impolite, rude, was totally mean and disrespectful to his younger college, and didn't install our adjustable base properly. There was one bolt on the floor after they were gone and one of the leg was not really screwed (it was at a 45 degree angle!). So I had to lift that king size, memory foam, adjustable base that weights a ton while my poor wife had to try to fix the leg... in the end I gave him a 20$ tip (not sure why, just felt that's what needs to be done), he took it without even saying "thank you" and left abruptly. We even gave them bottles of water prior, still no "thank you"...
If I was sit n sleep I would either fire this guy instantly or if they are contractors, I would change contract for delivery. Now our adjustable bed makes a squeaky sound every time we raise the head which makes me think it was poorly installed.
So all and all, the bed is great, sales rep amazing, delivery was unacceptable.
Edit: I dropped my review from 4 stars to 3 stars. In their defense, the manager contacted me following my initial review and someone from the main office offered to send a second team to fix the bed, an offer which I took and now regret. The second team was of equal incompetence and rudeness as the first one.
They couldn't fix the bed and as they left in the end and I was making them listen to the sound of the bed squeaking, the guy who again barely spoke any English just looked at his tablet without caring and saying "mmm mmm" in a disregarding way.
I asked them to install the headboard fixtures (a job the first team didn't even do and just left the box on the floor) and it seemed like I was asking them too much. I had to ask politely 2 times until they agreed to do it without any enthusiasm.
In the end, they installed the headboard incorrectly (it was 4 inches too high which looked ridiculous, and it was aligned too much on the left side and not even centerred). They also left half the screws behind as they clearly had NO IDEA how to assemble a basic headboard mount.
So as they left abruptly just like the first team did, I looked at the bed and felt anger toward it.
Luckily I'm enough of a "Mr fix it guy" that I took upon myself to do it properly. I had to un-install the mess that they did and screw the headboard mounts in the right holes, using every bolts and following the VERY SIMPLE 3 STEPS instructions. Now the bed looks great and as for the squeaky noise, I noticed it's a gear that is misaligned under the bed. I fixed it as "best I can" but I can't lift that monster bed by myself so I guess it will have to do.
The "technician" told me to call the store and have someone else look at it as they didn't know how to fix it. I'm not going to waste my time and a 3rd day of work just to be disappointed a third time.
I hope you had enough practice with assembling IKEA furniture because you'll need that skill to fix whatever bed you order from Sit n' Sleep. Now I feel like a sucker who had a great experience in store, only to be...

I tried at least 15 beds before I decided to purchase a purple mattress. I can't wait to sleep on my new bed! Thank you Mathew! I recommend this location to everyone.
EDITED Review June 2024: I didn't notice that ONE negative review from Daniel Fradkin..I'm having that same issue now, my original review 2 years ago was a 5 star! The salesperson was excellent and great at selling me a purple mattress, he also assured me that if I ever had any issues with my mattress it will get resolved. I called them in March 2024 to please send someone to inspect my mattress and they keep giving me the run around, the inspection technician has canceled 2 times in June 2024 and I have sent photos to them explaining my mattress has sunken in and it's now hurting my husband and my back horribly. We purchased this mattress 2 years ago and mattresses should last longer than than in my opinion if I'm paying over $2,000 for a mattress. I'm very disappointed with this experience. Just want to let people know to be careful when you purchase here because I feel like I was lied to. I will review again if something gets done by this place and they replace my mattress but in the mean time my 5 start has gone down to a zero star! It's very frustrating to be ignored and be told lies. It seems like Daniel Fradkin who gave them a zero had the same experience I am having with sit and sleep palmdale location. The sale is great service but when something goes wrong with the mattress they ignore you completely!
Edit July 2024: My mattress was replaced the second week of July 2024, after I posted this review someone reached me from Sit and Sleep and offered a mattress exchange for all the inconvenience, they apologized and asked if I could update my review online. I went for a higher priced mattress this time, the King Koil with a 20+year warranty and they applied the credit from my purple mattress. They do have a sign when you pay on the desk stating there's some kind of return policy fee for mattress but they won't disclose it in person, you must read the sign, keep in mind that fee is high. Look for yourself when you are sitting with a representative. The same sales representative helped us (Mat) but his demeanor felt different, he was still polite and helpful but definitely not the same as when we purchased our first purple mattress 2 years ago. 3 star is the most I feel I can give this place now for all the inconvenience and headache they caused me. Let's hope I don't need to replace this new mattress anytime soon, I will definitely post if anything goes...

I came into Sit ân Sleep last weekend looking for a mattress after sleeping on an air mattress for over 9 monthsâsomething that already says Iâm in a vulnerable place. I met with Stanley, who from the jump gave off a vibe like he was more concerned with closing the sale than understanding my needs. He wore an expensive watch and didnât ask anything about my sleep habits or what I might be looking for long-term.
I had already scoped out the Studio 2 Queen mattress, clearly marked at $435.49. When I sat down, Stanley quoted me $439âjust enough of a difference for me to feel the need to double-check. Luckily, I took a photo of the price tag beforehand to keep it honest. The total came to $501 after taxes and fees. I made it clear I didnât need mattress removal since I didnât even have an old mattress, and yet he still tried pushing the delivery fee.
After realizing I didnât have a way to get the mattress homeâHome Depot and U-Haul rentals werenât working outâI called back asking for Stanley. Instead, I spoke with Matthew, the Store Manager. I explained everything: my situation, how Iâd already spent enough money, and how I just needed a little help getting it delivered. To his credit, Matthew stepped up. He gave me â¨FREE⨠delivery, which was a huge relief on my Headache. It beat trying to acquire a truck rental and saved me another $70. Thank you đ for, simplicity.
All in all: Stanley made the process feel too transactional and extremely impersonal, especially when I was making a big purchase tied to a big life change and in need of quality sleep.
