Walmart Photo Center — Attraction in Panama City Beach

We arrived at PCB Saturday July 30th and came to this Walmart for groceries. This was our first (and last) trip to PCB. We normally stay in Destin Miramar Beach area and while the Walmart there is busy it is nothing like the fiasco we experienced at this location. This store was a mess, it looked like a scene from a Zombie Apocalypse movie. Shelves not stocked, merchandise strewn everywhere. And the checkout situation, Walmart you should be ASHAMED!!! We waited in line for nearly an hour to get checked out. I counted 8 registers that were not open. The line at every register that was open was at least 7 carts deep and these carts were PACKED!! And the poor cashiers!! My wife offered to buy our cashier a bottled water but she informed us that Walmart would not allow her to drink at the register. I called the store while waiting in line, asked for a manager, finally got Phillip. Sir, you do not deserve the title of "manager". Phillip informed me that Walmart would not allow him to hire more help. Really? Let's face it folks, this is the "perfect storm". A store that is so big it does not care about the customer any longer in a tourist town where they do not have to be concerned about repeat business. This store is the messy's place I've ever been to clothes , trash on the floor. They put clothes on the wrong racks and put the wrong sizes on there clothes. Clothes are not in the right places there very unorganized there. Don't work for this place it's the worst place to work for honestly. They will transfer you to different areas in the store and not just that but when they transfer you they will not let you know your days of work when being put into a new area they will give you two weeks of and then when last suspected tell you that you where supposed to work but no body tells you so miss those days and end up losing your job and they only pay $9.40 a hour ....believe me it's not worth your time. There is a Wal Mart at this location, I swear, I was there just three hours ago! I am a local, and I like this pharmacy and the techs and Pharmacists that work in it. The Pharmacists always answer my questions. I have even called back after I have left and asked questions. They are polite and courteous. Even when I have just simple allergies or a cold, the Pharmacist is more than happy to come out from behind the counter and show me medications on the shelf. They point out which does what, and because they know my prescriptions, they know what I should stay away from. That is what is important to me.
