Aqua Beach Resort By Panhandle Getaways — Hotel in Panama City Beach

The room was the best that I have ever stayed in. I have been to many locations down the Florida coast. Service is great, except for the drink station, which was open for the last 2 days. They stepped up and got someone new, so they made it right. You have to try the Sauna in the weight room, but not by yourself. You could pass out. They need better controls on it. Hot-tub a must, use the timer ⏲️ on the wall 🧱. 15 minutes and your back feels just as new (Pregnant Women 🤰 should avoid both Sauna and hot tub. The temperature could affect the baby 👶). The rip current was here for 9 days and no swimming in the ocean, however, they have 2 pools and one goes a little indoors, which was good. So, the rating that I gave. They have more amenities than any that I have stayed, which I mentioned above. The Condo Room was perfect. Our bedroom had a huge view of the ocean. Service was good except like I said the Bar was closed until the last 2 days. Location; geographically this area makes the ocean rougher so be careful 🧐. Overall it was a good experience 😌. Captain Anderson Restaurant is the very best place to eat 😋. Just go there, because we went to another place that was not even half as good and cost us more. Loved, loved, LOVED our time at Aqua Resort. We booked through AirBNB and stayed through an incredible host named Stan. Stan took fantastic care of our whole party, communicated clearly and quickly to all messages, and ensured we had every possible thing we could need for this quick girls weekend!

Aqua itself was lovely. Prime location directly across from Shuckums with private beach access and gorgeous pools right on the beach. The units were spacious, light, and airy with stunning views of the Emerald Coast. The pools were clean, plenty of seating, and a snack bar handy. Lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance, a very short drive to Pier Park, and convenient for Ubers and Doordash as well.

Our only complaint with the resort is that there are WAYYYYYY too few elevators, particularly considering how touchy they are. During our 3 day stay we only has 1 functional elevator on our side of the resort, and with 22 floors and lots of guests,...

We really enjoyed our stay! Pros - beautiful views, great chair service at the beach, two pools with snack and bar services (bar at one pool and food at the other). Private parking and beach. Walkable fun and food. Nearby Walmart also has liquor store. Target there too. Tons of ‘chain’ shopping. Beach and expensive liquor stores across the street.

Not complaints but considerations- a little too crowded if you want to drive and return either out or in without a bit of slow driving. Not much boutique or unique shopping. No adult only pool. Too many people inconsiderate of others or at least during our end of July peak season stay. Some issues with cleanliness on the property but they try. If arriving late nothing walkable nearby offered take out at the later hour (‘we are no longer offering take out tonight’ - they were slammed) so would plan...
