As excited as we were to go to topgolf for one of their first few weeks open, and my daughter's 15th birthday, I was extremely disappointed compared to the other top golf locations that I have been to. The building, the golfing, and environment is as expected, but for the 2 hours that we were there, we had a miserable experience with the food service, some of the staff, and all of the management. I just wanted to put an honest review for those thinking of going anytime soon… Don't until they get the kinks worked out and get some good management in place. I'll start by saying that our original hostess or server, Neveah, was 5-stars all the way around and she started the Birthday golf outing off as friendly and enjoyable as one could want. Unfortunately, we only had her assigned to our booth for the foist 30-45 minutes of the 120 minute outing because our timeslot was at 3:15 pm and apparently shift change is a 4:00 pm. Neveah promptly welcomed us, got us set up, took drink, orders, and food order and even offered to take a group picture for us in front of the TG logo wall to commemrate the birthday fun. The drinks came out shortly after and only some of the food followed. Everybody (5 ppl) had picked out their own appetizer, which only four of them came out and one of them was incorrect. We let her know, and she gladly got the one that was incorrect fixed in a fair amount of time, however, she followed up on the one missing appetizer and told us it would be out shortly. We didn't end up receiving it until an hour later after I had to go track down three different managers who were very nonchalant about it. Neveah had even went as far as to give us a heads up notice that she would be leaving and the new host, server would be taking over the second half for us, which was very kind of her to keep us in the loop. 15 minutes later, 4:00, during shift change I ended up walking downstairs to find the new shift and all of the new managers out on the outside patio area having what appeared to be a peptalk before their oncoming shift began, and I spoke to two redshirt managers when they were finished and updated them that we still were waiting on one of the girls foods an hour after ordering it, and halfway through the two hour booking. They obliged and said they would look into it, but didn't seem very concerned. Unfortunately, the new server, Will, was completely opposite of Neveah, and gave zero attention to the us the entire second hour of our time there. One of the boys asked for a refill of his water, which Will did accommodate, although the entire rest of the table was out of drinks also & he didn't bother to ask or get refills for everybody else until I had to finally ask one of the other servers who gladly accommodated the refills. The majority of the food or appetizers had been eaten 3/4 of the way into it (90 minutes) when we still hadn't received one of the girls appetizer, and I ended up collecting the other four empty glasses, along with all of the dirty dishes and empty appetizer plates and clearing them off the table myself walking them down the breezeway to their dirty dish tray as I passed our actual server, Will, as he stood there chatting with one of the new managers, Cierra. I asked them where I could put the dirty dishes in another server, stepped up and grabbed them from me and took care of them and placed them into the card as our server and the manager continue to talk and not attend to the situation or our table. I had hoped that our server, Will, and the manager, Cierra, would have taken a hint and asked if refills were needed or been at least embarrassed a little bit that I was bussing our own table, but they could've cared less and it didn't stop them from continuing to stay in there chatting rather than attending to us or the other patrons that were there. I finally got yet another server to get the remainder of the table refills, and shortly after decided we had had enough and asked for the check, which included the hour late appetizer, which went into a doggy bag & thrown...
Read moreThis is the absolute worst Top Golf experience I’ve ever had.
I’ve been to multiple Top Golfs. The service was very slow, the staff did not appear eager to even be there.
While waiting for a section to play, the group I was with decided to sit at the table where the bar is located to order appetizers. We waited close to 30 minutes to get approached and asked for an order. This particular section was not busy except the bar making drinks, so I couldn’t understand why it took so long.
The first appetizer (Nachos, but they were not traditional nachos) we ordered was cold and soggy. We did not finish them and let our server know they were not good, there was not an offer to even get refunded.
The inside is nice and compact, but the golf atmosphere is not like the other Top Golfs. This location does not have the vibrant and underground nets at other Top Golf locations. The balls were scattered all over the place, so your ball would hit other balls. The system struggled to register where your ball went for scores.
We got our golf section, the wait wasn’t bad. Our second server/staff member also was not giving us her best service. We had to ask for napkins, plates for other appetizers we ordered, the drinks I ordered were flat, the wings were cold, they forgot our ranch, they forgot our fries, and the bill was pricey. They didn’t forget to charge for our missing fries though.
I don’t like writing bad reviews or shaming staff. I want this location to do great, because I live in the area, however, I can’t let this bad experience go unnoticed. I wish I took more pictures to prove my case, but I understand maybe it was just a bad night, however, I feel enticed to really speak...
Read moreOverall, we had a good time, and the facility itself is nice. However, there were several major issues that soured our birthday celebration and would make us hesitant to return.
First, the venue is far too small for a major tourist destination like this. only 2 levels. It felt severely overcrowded, leading to an overwhelmingly loud environment. It was nearly impossible to hold a conversation in our bay. While we understand a lively & loud atmosphere, it crossed the line into chaotic. We were next to a youth softball team that was chanting and stomping so loudly it was shaking the deck. No staff ever intervened to manage the noise level for the comfort of all guests.
Second, the kitchen service was incredibly slow. Our server was great, but our food took 1 hour and 45 minutes to arrive. Because of this delay, our game time was expiring just as our meal came. We were forced to pay for extra time simply to be able to eat the food we had waited so long for. This policy feels punishing to guests who experience significant kitchen delays.
Finally, our first impression was terrible due to a highly unprofessional front desk employee. She remained dismissive, wore sunglasses the entire time we were speaking to her, and acted as if our simple check-in was a major inconvenience. It was an off-putting and unwelcoming start to our experience.
While our server was a bright spot, the combination of extreme overcrowding, uncontrolled noise, and poor service logistics made what should have been a special event a...
