This is the single best salon I have ever been to. If you need color correction, keep reading!! A couple of days before my birthday, I had gone to a salon (not wild honey) to get my hair done. I got a master stylist and asked for a nice balayage with some light ashy/sandy ends. After my appointment, my hair felt severely damaged, I was left with 3 chunky highlights weaving between a very dark brown and almost completely blonde backside of my head… silver ends, super uneven tones, just the whole 9 yards. Everything that I didn’t ask for and never would want, I got. Everything that could have went wrong…… went so terribly wrong. My last saving grace was going to Wild Honey, after having my hair so damaged from my first appointment at a different salon, I could not get my hair fixed again if it didn’t turn out well at Wild Honey. I booked with Alyssa and she…….. did the unimaginable. She not only fixed my hair, but made it look SO stunning. Usually after I get my hair lightened, the beautiful color fades after my first wash and I begin to fall out of love with it. This is the color that literally keeps on GIVING!! After every wash it has looked absolutely flawless. Not only did she fix my hair but the damage felt almost reversed from my first appointment and it has felt so incredibly healthy. I will now never go anywhere else OR to anyone else, I have never been this happy with a coloring appointment let alone a color correction appointment!!

I definitely recommend Wild Honey! This was my first time visiting and I will definitely be back. Booking online was easy and they even had same day appointments available. You can choose a stylist but I went with first available since I obviously didn’t know anyone yet. I arrived right on time and they checked me in and sat me almost right away. I thought the price was very fair for the service (lower than most other shops I looked at online). They have you enter card info online when booking (to hold your spot in case you no show) but you can pay and tip however you’d like after your appointment. The only downside is the parking but that’s just part of being in the city. My stylist’s name was Jay and she was amazing! Very professional and reassuring. I let her know that I was nervous as other salons have destroyed my bangs and I could tell she listened to what I wanted and was confident she could help. And she delivered! I love how healthy my hair looks and my bangs are perfect. Also, I’m usually not big on talking as I’m a bit shy and socially awkward. I usually dread going to salons because I feel like they constantly pressure you to talk the whole time. Jay asked a few questions and we chatted a bit but I didn’t feel overwhelmed at all and she didn’t push to keep talking when I was quiet. Overall great experience! If you are looking for a new salon, definitely check this place out and ask for Jay!

I don’t have the energy to write out my review. My hair was ruined before my wedding. I appreciate the professionalism offering a refund. But my wedding look is actually completely ruined by the bangs I got and I always felt my most confident in bangs. I would sum up how I feel right now as anxious, very sad about how I’m going to look in my wedding photos. I cried a lot today. If your stylist are not comfortable cutting bangs, then they need to say no. Every artist has their specialty, and people should be honest about what they can and cannot do. this was really mentally and emotionally damaging before my big day which I had expressed when booking the appointment. You can see from the photo they’re very crooked, poorly blended, and actually in the photo you can’t see that there’s layers that are the size of micro bangs. The reference photo for my wedding bangs and this aren’t comparable. I did not speak up about being upset when leaving the salon but it’s awkward for anyone to say they don’t like someone’s work, I hate to say I did better with my kitchen scissors during covid. This was from a level 5 experienced stylist which is what I was told when I booked my appointment

Horrible customer service. I called and made an appointment for my birthday because I heard they are great. When I made the appointment they made me give them my card information which I thought was strange but they said they do it for everyone. The day before my appointment I tried to call in the morning to cancel because my car broke down so unfortunately I had to spend my birthday money to fix my car but when I called there was no answer. I figured they weren’t open yet. So I was at work and I got so busy and I remembered that I still had to call to cancel my appointment for the next day at 4pm. I called to cancel at 445 in the afternoon the day before my 4 pm appointment. I told them how sorry I was that I couldn’t make the 4pm appointment the next day because of my car but I would reschedule soon. They said no problem. A few minutes later my phone dinged with my bank account saying that the salon charged me $250 well of course I had no idea what was going on so I called and they said that because I didn’t cancel 24 hours in advance or more that they charged me 1/2 the cost of my service for cancellation. I flipped out like are you kidding me? I called 45 minutes later than the cutoff and I told them my situation about my car needing to get fixed but they said that’s the policy it’s right online when you book. I said I called to schedule I never went online so I had no idea about your policy. They said they texted me warning me about canceling under 24 hours but they confirmed they had wrong number for me so I never got the text. I called and talked to Joan and she said she would give me my money back but of course I never got it back and the 20 times I called to ask when I would get it back she was never there to get on phone with me. Absolutely horrible to do that to people. If I knew that’s the policy I would have definitely not gone there because emergencies happen to people all the time so for them to take $250 from someone without doing anything for it is despicable. I can understand a cancel fee of $50-$75 for the hair dressers time but $250 they should be ashamed of themselves. Be warned that...

My usual stylist, Ashley, is really great. I enjoy coming here to get a haircut. Nice aesthetic setting, lovely staff. I’ve followed Ashley from a previous salon and will happily continue to see her for future cuts.

Today was my first time coming for just a bang trim. Ashley wasn’t available so I picked whomever was available because all stylists here seem to do a great job with their clients. The bang trim was fine I suppose, I’m just surprised that it was so brief and bare minimum. It was done in about two minutes, for a $20 service plus tip lol. I was going to trim them myself but I wanted a little more shaping to my curtain bangs which is why I decided to book with a stylist, however when I asked for a little more shaping/blending with the longer parts of the bang, I was told that that would require booking a full haircut, and isn’t included in the bang trim. She only cut the shortest part of my bangs, and didn’t cut the longer parts even though a curtain bang has like a slanted cascade on both sides of the face. I didn’t want a full hair cut, I just wanted to freshen up and shape up my curtain bangs, so I booked a bang trim thinking that’s what I was going to get. It was my first time having just a bang trim, so maybe I misunderstood what that means and I need to lower my expectations for the service. I just thought that if my bangs are curtain bangs, the whole bang style would be addressed and maintained, not just briefly trimming the shortest part.

I’ll probably do my bang trims at home from now on since I like them shaped up more often and don’t want to have to book and pay for a full haircut when I only want to trim and shape up my bangs, but I will happily continue to book for haircuts in the future when I need the...

After going to this salon for three years, I have noticed their quality of work and professionalism go down significantly. Yesterday, I abruptly got a text message that I was no longer able to make appointments with them. Confused, I asked why and the owner Joanne did not give any information other than that they noticed I was unhappy the last few times I had come in.

I’m not sure if they were referring to my long time stylist - Kate - who I used to have very good experiences with in 2022-2023 for haircut, balayage and gloss. More recently, her work became sloppier and prone to mistakes (uneven haircut, incorrect color placement, rushing during visits) and I have asked for corrections very politely after I saw results that were not in line with what we discussed. She always seemed more than happy to fix these issues, so there was no indicator there was an issue.

More recently I got a gloss with a male associate who kept spilling gloss and water on my clothes. When I asked him to be more careful he had an attitude, didn’t apologize, and kept doing the same thing. The gloss should’ve taken 20 minutes and lasted over 1.5 hours.

If I’m paying for a service, I’m entitled to give feedback on my experience. Their decision to send me a text message to end business after three years was laughably unprofessional. The reasonable thing would’ve been for the manager to call and have a discussion around what happened in real time. It’s a shame they are unable to navigate even minor conflict when clients want to give constructive feedback after paying hundreds of dollars for their...
