Considering Amtrak dropped all of us and didn't help us in any shape or form told us it was the end of the line because there was a fire and Alpine which was a city on the west side of Texas we were told at the last minute that there was a fiesta going on in San Antonio there was no hotels available and no rental cars available however we found one hotel and we found a rental car at a close airport can't say much for Amtrak waiting to give them a call you don't take people that far out and just say adios because this is the end of the line for this trip We paid for our trip to leave Chicago and go to LA California and instead they dumped us with no help from Amtrak at all to get to California if I was to do this trip again I highly recommend however you get there to go to San Antonio it was one fantastic place for a few hours Even though Amtrak dropped us off the train and told us it was the end of the line at midnight we did have a slightly good time the next morning before we got...

Amtrak is better than flying and Greyhound! ๐คข๐คฎ The trains ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ are clean, neat, friendly, comfortable, fast and affordable.

Even though there was a 3 1/2 hour delay in Fort Worth, TX, it was still a pleasant and relaxing 8 hour train ride here to San Antonio, TX. Nice and clean with so much leg room and space to move around, amazing. The gentleman in the dining car was so nice, even when the power went out momentarily. and as soon as it came back on he quickly went back to preparing my food with a smile the whole time. โบ The Restrooms were kind of a tight area, understandably, but not too bad, at least there were restrooms able and that is a definite plus. The employees in Fort Worth were also awesome, helpful, patient, and kept us up to date on information about all the delays. I really appreciate that. Made for a pleasant experience even with the...
